I swear, if this is FO3 and NV again where there are still skeletons in the bathrooms that have yet to be cleared out for some inexplicable reason

Well, you have to think about the fairly small population numbers compared to before the Great war, and the fact that people aren't spreading out but grouping together to form new towns and cities. Plus old un-used buildings were likely to be looted, and when that happens, people are more looking for food than to make everything squeeky clean.

It has a dog so it's ok I guess

Still am never gonna play buy it - the genre just doesn't sit well with me.
