Finally done with my junior year of college, so I have some room to breathe for once. Gonna' be teaching kids at a tech camp this summer, as well as doing a summer class on algorithms. Other than that, I'm hoping to build a proper gaming rig, get back into TF2, and start playing some more vidya in general

You are incredibly whiny and pathetic and everything you've ever said on here and on steam just drips with self-loathing, and that is incredibly tiring
If you had a bad day and complained about it in TIAM say once every few weeks then people would happily cheer you up but it is THE ONLY THING YOU EVER DO and at one point pity turns into disgust. Even if you do post something reasonable you always feel the need to add something like "also yeah that thing I'm not allowed to talk about but never mind I'm ok ;__________;"
You're an insecure teenager, get over yourself, we've all been there. Nothing we're going to say is magically going to change that, the only way to stop being socially awkward is by practicing being social. Yes, that's hard, too bad. And for the snivy thing what the hell do you want us to say? honestly at this point anyone who has tried to give you advice has gotten fed up with you because you're pretty damn deep in denial and self-pity and don't consider it. Since there is no progress or headway to be made, the only options left are to ignore or xd at you

i'm not fond of sounding like a jerk but can you try to stop posting about your problems so much? if your phases are just phases, don't bring them up; if they're genuine issues, bottle them up/vent them in a journal/seek help but the volume of weirdity/emotional conflict/should-i-help-him we have to deal with from you is really obnoxious and, admittedly, i have had to block your posts in the past from how annoying they got

​There aren't any widely used ones on Steam, which is a big problem because you need to go with the masses when it comes to music production in terms of what program you use, or else you run the risk of there being no tutorials or plugins to make music with. You'll want to look into things like Cubase, Fruity Loops Studio, Ableton Live and other stuff like that. Since you mentioned getting them on Steam I presume you want to get them legally, so you'll need to keep in mind that they're ridiculously priced because they're professional software, and on top of what you pay you also need to buy plugins to refine the sounds you make.
Honestly just fucking pirate them. That's literally how every music producer starts (yes, including all the massively popular people), because its ridiculous to expect someone to pay a few hundred to a few thousand dollars/pounds/euros for programs that complicated right off the bat.
