April Fool's for Granblue Versus, made by the GALO SENGEN/Bob Team Epic guys. Every frame is so dense, its a work of art.

Bought a few manga on a reputable online shop. Scheduled to be delivered between April 1st and 3rd. Alright.

Got a message saying the delivery was anticipated and they would bring it on the 29th. Ok, cool.

"Someguyname has started your delivery, you will receive your purchase around 5PM"

.....

Nothing.

Next day. "Your delivery will take a bit longer, sorry." Yeah, sure, wasn't expecting that soon anyway.

Few hours later. "We had a problem with your delivery and you won't get your product. Here is your money back."

??? No reason given, "non-specified problem with your delivery process, you purchase was canceled and your money returned."

Did the delivery guy die? Was robbed? Did he stole my package? What the fuck will he do with some assorted chapters of manga?

Warner Brothers is going on a massive tax break deletion spree, they have set some games published by Adult Swim Games to be delisted from Steam (Small Radios and Fist Puncher)

They might also go for other games like Samurai Jack, Kingsway and Duck Game, so might be worth looking out in case they do.

Was looking around for a spare book for college, when I found my old book from my classes from 5 years ago.

It was mostly unused, but in one of the pages there was this doodle, so I tried to recreate it.

The only people I see using untranslated "what the fuck" are teens that spend too much time on the internet.

We already have like 3 expressions that mean the same thing: "Mas que merda" (What the shit), "Mas que porra" (What the fuck), "Mas que droga" (What the damn).

"Porra" actually means cum, but expresses the same sentiment on that line. "Foda" would be our fuck word, "Foda-se" being basically our "Fuck you".

"Droga" means drug, but also shares the same sentiment as damn.

My personal favorite is "Vai para a puta que te pariu", which basically means "Go back to the whore that birth you".

The variety of enemies is pretty limited on each level, so after memorizing how they move and what they do, it's relatively easy to start clearing levels without taking any hits at all. I was never quite able to finish the game with the 1 HP guy, but I got pretty deep, and I don't even typically ATTEMPT no hit challenges in most games. I did also manage to beat the game on Hard with the "low health guy" (Njord, who has 50 HP and doesn't get to buy weapons) as well with a similar playstyle to what I'm suggesting.

 

Basically, focus on defense over speed for a while and you'll find the game getting a lot easier.

 

Note: I did START playing the game on Hard, so I kinda had to adopt a playstyle for a less forgiving game from the start. I'm not sure if enemies are slower or wonkier to dodge at lower difficulties, since slower can often be harder in a weird way in these types of games.

Yeah, I got the hang for the beat thing, and eventually managed to get most levels without taking a hit, but like I said, I failed both times on level 6 (the red one) because the game decided it was double damage time and one mistake was game over.

One of those times, I had found a Skeleton Key, yet the game kept spawning MORE keys when I was at "low" (50) health.

Edit:

Just because I said this, I ended up winning a run. The game was kind enough to give me a Midas level, so I got enough money to afford the Minigun.

Then I found the Infinite Ammo shield, the gloves that makes you attack hit twice and the boots that make enemies take damage with every beat.

All I had to do was hold the fire button and clear all the enemies, just bothering to dodge now and then. Just before the last level, I found the boots that deal percentage damage.

That dragon didn't last long.

I would love using spells if the game didn't either spawn no keys or no library. I have only seen two spells so far, a barrage one that seems to always miss and one that supposedly blocks the first attack on the room.

Decided to give BPM a try.

Holy fucking shit, why is this game so hard? The default difficulty is "Easy" but its still insane! There are two harder settings that I just dread having to play.

Rooms even at the first level sometimes have like 10 enemies so it gets hard to pay attention to everything at once, your health is extremely small (100 hp, but they could just say its 4 because each hit takes AT LEAST 25 hp), you have only 4 passive slots and they only accept one item kind.

Almost every room has a shrine to increase your stats, but they sometimes get replaced by chests or other less desired interactable stuff, so if that happens is one less stat up and you REALLY need them, specially range.

The furthest I got so far was level 6, mostly due luck because of items that regenerated health and lots of range ups, but BOTH TIMES I died because the game decided fun was over and made the level do double damage, then spawn a bunch of shield enemies and suicidal bombers. The suicidal ones deal 100 FUCKING DAMAGE, which is an instant kill if you didn't had luck with HP ups or anything that generate shields.

The shield guys sometimes died fast, sometimes they kept tanking damage for a whole minute, even if I kept shooting them in the head or the back. And you can't sidestep their attacks, oh no, you HAVE to dodge, and if you dodge a beat too late that is 50 damage for you, friendo.

Soundtrack is good. But I am starting to get annoyed because its rather repetitive.

This AI smokes some serious crack. I did get Bowsette from Bowser + Pornhub, so some stuff makes sense at least.
