Actually, I changed them to the cosmetic ranks. I kept the 2-bit thing in case there's a good reason for that (not sure if there is).   We could do the Holiday Punch ranks, if you all think that would be more appropriate.

Series II procedures are not finalized, and thus I will not be able to answer any questions about them until they are.

While I continue to not be able to release exact statistics to you on how long the AMA queue is, I can reveal that we are getting closer to the end. We won't see it for a couple of months, but it's close enough that I've been thinking about it.   Obviously, once we reach the end of the queue, AMAs will end, unless we have people who haven't done them before step up. We cannot force anyone to do an AMA, however, and we remain committed to that.   Personally, I think that doing the AMAs has been fun, and I'd like to see us do something related in the future. That's why I'm bringing it up for discussion now, so that we can decide the best course of action and have time to plan it out fully before we need to implement it. Of course, you all may decide that once we're done with the remaining ones, we're done, and that's fine by me a swell.   Some suggestions that I thought of while talking with Rammite about this... first, of course, is creating a "Series 2" where people who have already done an AMA can do another one. That's obviously the easiest of the options. Another option that I thought might be cool is "group AMAs", where people who are related in some way (for example, forum staff) do an AMA together. This would require a bit more organization (especially since we'd have to get people grouped up together by some common thread), but it would be interesting to see the interactions between the people in the group and to ask about a topic that applies to them all.   What's your opinion on AMAs? Have they been good? Should we continue them in the future? If so, what's the best way?

Heavily revamped is the Q&A forum. We did have the ability to do something similar with "Best Answers" right now, but this is moving more toward a StackExchange featureset. Not sure how we'd use this, but I thought it interesting.

Spoilers have changed quite a bit - they're more like our old spoilers from vB. There is a bit of pushback so it's entirely possible that we'll see it go back to the ones we've been used to for a while now.

I don't know if you guys are accepting me in fear of him not liking you for not liking me, or because im a girl. >.<   I'm the head admin of the forum. Why would I fear him not liking me? I'm kidding Rammite don't take this the wrong way. To be fair, I did bring up a few concerns with him, but I trust his judgement. All doubts vanished upon seeing this thread.

This is 40 or so posts away from being the longest ever. It's beating 3rd place by about 60 or so posts. So yeah, it's somewhat significant. You've created a buzz in this community, and that's something that doesn't happen often.

It also wouldn't be a good fit for the AMA forum. I think that kind of thing should stay in Projects.

We're not going to end Series 1 any time. I think it's fine if we do both series concurrently.   After all, Series 1 is a bit of a joke and I'm sure that people really want to ask and answer serious questions.
