SPUFurb won't be moved because it's a private forum. I don't really see how AMAs are forum games. Pony Stable probably could be moved. There isn't any good way to organize gaming.

It doesn't currently make sense to move the specific game forums underneath the general gaming forum to reduce clutter.   Anyway, considering the negative feedback on this proposal, this topic will be closed and the proposal indefinitely shelved.

Here at SPUFpowered, we are committed to exploring the best options for the benefit of this forum. (Well, alright, no - I'm busy trying to adjust and tweak things so that they work even better than they did before and my various colleagues are trying to stop me before I ruin the forum for the 77th time running.)   A recent topic of discussion has been in overhauling the forums to be better organized. After some thought, I would like to offer a proposal on overhauling the Gaming Discussions category. At the current state of time, it is divided into four forums - General Gaming, TF2, Dota 2, and Trading.   I would like to propose that the first three forums be merged together into one single forum, and that threads in this forum would be tagged/prefixed with the game they are associated with.   This would help organization by allowing threads of the same game to be easily associated together through sharing the same tag. The impact on forum usage would probably be low, considering a majority of new posts are made in general game threads which are stickied at the top of a forum and would probably continue to do so. In addition, it allows more flexibility in creating topics for discussion about a game. Of course, it would cause disruptions in that adjustments to a new forum layout would be required, and it would also require more serious usage (and thus stricter administrative enforcement) of the tagging system in order to ensure that the system works.   Feedback on this possible change would be appreciated.

It's actually as simple as just clicking the pertinent tag. I've tagged the TF2 general topic in the TF2 forum as a test/example.

Indeed they do. However, I still feel that the difference is minimal given that a majority of posts about those games still end up in the "game hub" general threads.

I would hope that utilizing a tagging system instead of having separate subforums would extend that benefit to other games, given that you can search for all threads with a certain tag.

And would you rather have the heathanistic Binocracy or the cruel Rammilitary in power over the fredelovent Frederalists? Well, the Supreme Command of subSPUF is the only authority qualified to govern subSPUF. The Binocracy, Rammilitary, and Frederalists are merely rebellions that only have legitimacy because their leaders are members of the ruling faction. Insurgencies like Bernkastel's have no legitimacy at all.

I have got to stop holding these so late at night. It was 1 AM when we disbanded last night.   Unfortunately, I didn't get a recording because I forgot to stop previewing in OBS, but there wasn't much last night to see from my POV anyway.
