  1. We are focused on boring stuff (installer, upgrader, performance, security, etc.) at the moment so aren't paying much attention to feature specifics. We will get back into that soon though. Beta is in the next week or two

  2. There's another way to do it, but I'm not sure how. All I know is that it's an "unconventional method".

Time to figure out how they did it.

Happenings! Tf2_scripts.vpk has been removed, and items_game.txt.sig is now in the items_game folder.

Probably a signature file from valve that verifies it's a good items_game.

I'm willing to bet that they're doing some secret signature method (the same way they sign plugins) so that you can't manually hack your own sig into the file and expect it to work.

Funny that it only appears when they release another useless maintenance release.

  4. There's only one major change - group AMAs are now themed AMAs. (Series I and II AMAs are unaffected.)

Thus, they will revolve around a theme instead of a group as their main topic, and anybody may create one, whether it is by themselves or with a group of people. If you are requesting a themed AMA, it is recommended that you do one along a theme that is fairly unique and not likely to be covered in-depth in a Series I or Series II AMA. Please read the forum guidelines for more information.

In addition, we are considering putting in place an AMA organization forum for themed AMAs. I'll let you know if that happens.

We've also started opening up Series II AMAs (only three and a half months later!).

I think it's time that we decided once and for all which is the best theme

The last time we did this, we sundered subSPUF into the Rammilitary and the Binocracy.

Actually that was SPUFlight and SPUFdark, until you two betrayed your own sides and then tried to cover it up by making new factions.

Well, you're not involved, so I do not have to make adjustments for you.

As the appointed court stenographer, I arguably have the most important job here.

However, I am currently imprisoned without hope of timely release in the sunken city of R'lyeh, located deep beneath the ocean. As my presence at this hearing at of the utmost necessity, I move that we relocate the proceedings to my watery dwelling. Given the lack of sunlight, this would also solve any issues that vampires who plan to be in attendance might otherwise have.

Please note that any person wishing to enter the sunken city of R'lyeh must first sign a waiver agreeing that I bear no responsibility or liability should the undersigned see an elder god or some fucked up inter-dimensional shit and go incurably insane, or suffer from any bodily injury including but not limited to: evisceration, amputation, immolation, mutilation, strangulation, castration, mutation, defenestration and/or (but probably and) total scrotal implosion. We hope to see you soon!

We don't need a court stenographer. There are no verbal proceedings anywhere, since this is a forum.

    Accordingly, motion denied.

But what if I respond to every future event with a Soundcloud recording?

You haven't even responded to the initial complaint yet, and this court will only accept written documents at the moment.
