Eiko's phone chimes.

"Oh, actually, this is a good time for us to go meet up with Fujiwaka-san. You wanted to go hunting, right? It sounds like she has some questions."

Eiko quickly types out a response as she says that before turning back to face you. Actually, she also takes a few steps forward to maintain the distance between the two of you.

"T-that's right, Hisako-chan! This is an opportunity!" Aleister adds.

Tami

You quickly receive a response.

"Sure. I'll start making my way over. Where are you?"

Aika

Still holding onto the bag with one hand, Tsukiko claps her palms together.

"In that case, perhaps we should give Nonohara-san a call."

Aika

"A skin product? Then, could I see it?"

Joan, Yukari

The three of you head over to the parking complex. Standing outside the entrance is Tami and Sen, both of whom appear to be unharmed.

Tami, Sen

At the same time, the two of you notice Joan and Yukari approaching in the distance.

Aika

Tsukiko maintains her pleasant expression and tone of voice.

"What are you talking about, Akabane-san? There are things like antihistamines for rashes and itching, decongestants to deal with swelling, corticosteroids to treat inflammation, and even non-medicinal products like saline spray and artificial tears. Oh, but it's important to follow the instructions on the packaging. So if you don't tell me exactly what's wrong, the side effects could be incredibly bad."

Danger, danger. The warning signals in your head are alerting you to a massive wave of killing intent emanating from Tsutsu-chan. Without a doubt, this is the same class of emotion that led Kiyohime to transform into a dragon and burn her lover to death.

"Come to think of it, there were a distressing amount of other students absent from class today, and I don't think one person could have eaten all this food by themselves. But if you say it was an allergic reaction, then I suppose I have no choice but to believe you."

Without averting her eyes, Tsukiko starts digging through the bag with an utterly tranquil expression.

"In that case, how about I give you some medicine right now? Even if you're feeling better, you can never be too certain about these things. Right, A-ka-ba-ne-san?"

Tsukiko sighs before looking back up with a smile.

"If you insist, then I guess it can't be helped."

She walks further into the apartment, about to place the bag on the table before-..

"..Huh? There's all this DFC. And it seems fresh, too."

The usually quiet girl tilts her head and turns back to look at you with a frightening aura. If the atmosphere in the room had frozen even the slightest bit more from that action, a wise Buddhist monk would have been needed to prevent the apartment from being cursed.

"Akabane-san? You didn't skip class and make it seem like something was wrong so you could hang out with friends at home, right?"

Aika

"Akabane-san, don't say such lonely things. If there was something bad enough to make you stay home from class, preparing these is the least I could do. What if you really were sick?"

Tsukiko raises her index finger. The way she's scolding you for not relying on her more gives off a bit of a motherly impression.

Aika

"Thank you. I guess it really is just you in here, isn't it?"

Tsukiko steps inside while taking a quick glance around the room. For some reason, she's carrying a plastic shopping bag.

"Oh, I went to the drugstore on the way here to buy medicine. Well, it was just in case and I wasn't sure what exactly could have been wrong, so I ended up buying a whole bunch of things.."

Aika

Fortunately, you look more or less the same as always, probably because you weren't asleep for too long.

This time, the actual doorbell rings.

"Akabane-san, may I come in?"

The two of you head outside. The strange girl has long since disappeared, though on that note, you seem to have misplaced her shoe at some point.

Tami's phone also chimes with a text from Joan, asking about the situation.

[To clarify, Tami does not receive the text, since underground parking complex. At least not immediately, but I'm not entirely certain what happens to texts that are in limbo.]

"Don't be stubborn, friends should do at least this much for each other, right? Well, I'll be heading up to the room."

The call ends. It should take Tsukiko about a minute or two to get to your door. Thankfully, the crystals stopped growing and disappeared earlier.

Joan, Yukari

Joan taps out a text to Tami. Of course, if she and Sen were in an area with bad reception for some reason, it might not have been received on her end. It's not like someone can tell just by looking at the screen, though.

Joan, Yukari

Nekomoto licks at his paw.

"Who knows? There's a chance that you're just more sensitive to these things than other magical girls, or maybe it could be that you're feeling it more than normal because you're not in top form. Some girls apparently become more susceptible when they're sick or stressed. Things like that."

Aika

"A-ah, yes! You weren't in class today, and I heard that you had shown up before homeroom before disappearing, so I wanted to check if you doing okay."

Judging from the sound of Tsukiko's voice, she indeed seem to be concerned about you.

"Oh, but don't tell anyone I came here, I faked not feeling well so I could leave early. May I come in?"

"Umm.. this is Tsukino. Is this Akabane-san?"
