There aren't any widely used ones on Steam, which is a big problem because you need to go with the masses when it comes to music production in terms of what program you use, or else you run the risk of there being no tutorials or plugins to make music with. You'll want to look into things like Cubase, Fruity Loops Studio, Ableton Live and other stuff like that. Since you mentioned getting them on Steam I presume you want to get them legally, so you'll need to keep in mind that they're ridiculously priced because they're professional software, and on top of what you pay you also need to buy plugins to refine the sounds you make. Honestly just fucking pirate them. That's literally how every music producer starts (yes, including all the massively popular people), because its ridiculous to expect someone to pay a few hundred to a few thousand dollars/pounds/euros for programs that complicated right off the bat. -

If you wanna do endgame then the Reaper of Souls expansion is mandatory. You could finish the story from the base game (so to the end of Act 4), but the story is nothing special. It's not bad but it won't blow your socks off. The problem is you can hit 70, and then you have a bit of a grind to get your set pieces and legendary items before you really begin to experience what makes the game fun for so many people. If you just want to check it out and don't plan to at least try and get an end-game build going then you could probably skip the expansion, but if you want to do anything past just see what it's like then you just have to drop the money and buy it. I fucking love the game though. It got a bad reputation at it's launch but Reaper of Souls took it from a fucking joke of a game and made it one of my favorite (if not my favorite) game of all time. Everything works so fucking crisply and perfectly. I tried Path of Exile and it just seemed clunky in comparison. PoE definitely has good points, and it's also an amazing game, but I just prefer Diablo.

Definitely check the game out. It's one of my favorite games of all time. Just gotta be prepared to grind a LOT at the end game. You'll never get to the point where your character can't get any better. Luckily no matter what class you pick you'll be in a good position if you put in the time. Monk is the most popular class by far at the moment, followed by Barbarians from what I've seen. Uh, no. Torment 6 is as hard as it was and rewards the same it always did. 7-10 is just increased difficulty and rewards. Blizzard don't nerf stuff mid season incase they fuck up rankings. If they nerfed it then suddenly all the rankings that have been achieved at the moment would sit at the top all season. Even after the season ends they're not gonna nerf it. Nerfing just isn't in the spirit of Diablo III, instead Blizz just make stuff better in order to contest the best builds. Example being the rework of the Witch Doctors Helltooth set. Was utter shit in comparison to anything else, so instead of nerfing the other sets they just brought Helltooths up to par.

Yep, people have been working on it for weeks (or months). Some builds like the Monks Shenlongs set use it really nicely in combination with the skills, doing stuff like making you take ridiculously low damage. Others don't use it so smartly, and instead just do things like put a Furnace in the weapon slot for faster Rift Guardian kills and to make Elite packs more viable to fight. Either way its a really cool addition to the game to let people push Greater Rifts further, without doing something that directly inflates damage numbers.

Got to play the new patch for about a day before I left. Decided on the Shenlong's Spirit Generator build for Non-Season, but I'm really tempted to make a monk in Season for the Seven Sided Strike build. Thoughts about Shenlong's though: Fucking love this set. Makes me feel like I'm playing the original Sunwuko's set from pre-season 1 again, and it's fun as fuck. Just simple 'Run into shit press all your button and hold down M1'. I'm really tempted to try and push into high greater rifts this patch in non-seasons, but the current Rank 1 Monk is using some weird combination of the Shenlong's Set and the Dashing Strike build from last season, which would just be way too fucking much to track if that build becomes the best. On seasons it's looking as though Seven Sided Strike is the best currently, for obvious reasons because the new season only fist weapon makes it twice as powerful.

Officially back from Reading Festival. I will now proceed to talk about the acts I saw which ultimately I don't think any of you will care about. First off was My Nu Leng. Arguably the best act of the weekend I saw. Started off their set with their track 'Set It' which was fucking insane because of how heavy the bass on that track is. They followed it up with some general heavy shit, which made the crowd fucking mental. Dropped some new stuff as well which was great. Saw Circa Waves in the NME tent which usually isn't my sorta thing, and even now I wouldn't go outta my way to listen to, but it was pretty good regardless Saw the end of Everything Everything's performance, which was okay. That led onto Catfish and the Battlements, which I had never heard before then, but I just couldn't enjoy because the crowd was filled to the brim with cunts pushing everyone to the very front in an attempt to get there themselves, which led to a few people passing out before Catfish had even got on stage. Ended up leaving that early on and heading back to the Dance Tent for some random set, and then MK when he came on. Met some really cool people there and spent all Saturday night in there with them. Eventually left when the tent closed down and saw the end of Metallica's performance, which was great because they played Seek and Destroy, followed by The Unforgiven and then ended it with Enter Sandman. Was seriously cool to see one of the first bands I got into live, playing 3 of their best songs. Topped that all of by going back to the Dance Tent today, then went to see the end of Jamie XX's set on the NME stage. I know he's pretty fucking popular but I never listened to any of his stuff before. Heard some old school Disco kinda stuff which was pretty fucking cool, especially since most of the other Dance stuff was House or some variation of House. Rustie had to cancel, which is a massive shame because I was looking forward to his set as much as My Nu Lengs one. Finished off withKendrick Lamar, who came on dressed like so much of a Roadman I thought he was gonna get Skepta or JME up on-stage with him. M.A.A.D City and Sing About Me were done amazingly live, especially because he had a band behind him instead of just a backing track. Finished it up with A.D.H.D which I never.saw coming because its such an old track (which was funny because a lot less people in the crowd knew it when it first came on. Good weekend, would recommend it to anyone who enjoys auditory frequencies crafted for entertainment purposes.
