Exorsus (Russian guild) just got world first Emerald Nightmare within 18 hours of release. If a US guild had done it that fast, then US would have got world first before EU players were even able to enter the instance. Apparantly Cenarius is significantly harder than Xavius. Likely down it this fast due to extensive loot funnelling and Mythic+ farming. It's weird seeing a guild other than Method get it, but unsurprising after they effectively fell apart. Genuinely thought Serenity would take it, but evidently not. It's cool though, hopefully there's gonna be more guilds involved in the world first race now that Paragon and Method are gone.

Well I can easily say that this has been the best expansion launch that I've experienced so far. For the first time in years I'm logging on, and I'm excited to play every single day. The world quest system is great, traveling is easy, but doesn't feel trivial (because of no flying, and all mobs scaling to 110). I'm playing a mage and I can say that I thoroughly enjoy every single spec, and I've been having a great time in dungeons so far. Fire is ridiculously fun in both boss fights and on trash (I've personally been able to do about 1.3m dps on heavy trash packs because of Living Bomb, Conflagration and Hot Streak Flamestrikes). Arcane still has the turret style gameplay which I personally like but I know others aren't too fond of, and Frost is a pretty damn solid spec with a whole load of different talent choices. If Blizzard can manage to keep this pace up and keep content rolling then this could be the best xpac since Wrath (but obviously I'm keeping cautious until we get more than a few weeks in). This has been great. Video games are fun. also got this bad boy lmao
