Formats we could play: 6v6, Gym focused: (More Players than Gym leaders) everyone attempts to beat a specific gym leader on Saturday. You could run multiple gyms at the same time. 6v6, Player focused: (More Gym leaders than Players) A specific player attempts to beat as many Gym leaders in one day as possible, Multiple players could be playing at the same time against different gym leaders. This also means that players couldn't edit their teams between gym fights. 4v4: This can give advantage to the gym leader as there would be smaller rooms for counters, especially if the players can't edit their teams between games. though it can also be a weakness for the gym leader if there is more than one counter on said team. Example: if player had 2 counters in a 4v4 he would have a higher chance of winning than 2 counters in a 6v6 because the gym leader would have less opportunities to destroy his counter. But a single counter can be deadly in a monobattle anyway.

Soooooo. Momocon, an anime convention is hosting a ball. But the dress code is formal, and cosplay isn't allowed unless it also meets formal dress code standards. It features anime and video game music and live cover bands that are apparently pretty good. I never imagined that there was an event for anime nerds to dress up and talk civilly about anime over wine and hors d-oeuvres. It pretty much breaks every anime stereotype. is it wrong that i'm crazy excited about this?

Didnt they released Arbok and Wheezing during Gold/Silver? I remember Jessie getting that Seviper after almost killing it barehanded. Early seasons are really blurry to me because as a kid i didn't understand the difference between them. I may be thinking of Victreebell who popped out randomly. Wobbuffet has been with them for quite some time, they accidentally captured him early on in the silver/gold era of pokemon. He is a troll, when they want to send out Arbok or Wheezing he pops out of his pokeball. Also, you should check out the anime of red that was released just a half year ago. It follows the pokemon game Red and the trainer Red, not ashe. Its only like 6 episodes but its really good.

I disagree with your league of legends arguments but that's because their champion designs are vastly different than dota and that's not because of payment systems it's because of differing and evolving design theories to games. You forget all the pluses to the limited champion mechanic. Which include forced training (cheap champions are easy and free rotation are limited) and a sense of accomplishment and progression, something level thirties forget about. But on other f2p models, I view mobile and console games differently. But war thunder has a great f2p model. The p2p cash (here in referred to as gold) gives you exp boosts and silver boosts. But you can also buy "golden planes" which are niche in a certain countries tier and give a significant bonus to research but due to the nature of the game superior tactics and skill beat any golden plane. An example: the British have a golden austrailian plane called the boomerang. It has superb turning capability, better than any other British plane of the tier, but it still would struggle to out turn a Japanese plane. It has bonus to research points so you don't need to grind as hard for higher tiered planes. Another is eve online. While not a free game initially, by playing the game and making money it can become one. Here is something that I am kind of controversial on, as long as it can't be used in PvP I have no problem with pay to win as long as you can win without paying. In single player games with free and pro versions I enjoy these because it's like an extended demo. I can really try what I'm buying before I pay. Maybe I have to sit through ads or a mandatory time wall... But I do that with TV and I pay for that anyway!

Multiple random subjects below: in other news, i need a really good visual novel right about now. i haven't seen a good romance anime in MONTHS... So i need a really good VN to restart my D'aww meter. I tried Agarest: Generations of war which is a tactical RPG + Dating sim... it could have been good but the DLC ruined it. They gave me SHIT TONS of equipment which makes even the hardest difficulty easy mode. and i could ignore it but there is always that temptation to equip it when i'm not doing well. for giggles: i love this youtuber. she has AMAZING lyrics for vocaloid songs, and a great voice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTwyaIo9ADk Also "Monthly Girls' Nozaki Kun" is hilarious. Reverse harem non-romance comedy. I can't get enough of it. i have these giant grins through out the entire show. Its non-stereotypical but its gimmicky. Theres no "falling on you and accidentally grabbing your breast" like jokes but there are "Lines so lame that they embarrass even me" But they also embarrass the characters. Its cute and its funny and i really really enjoy it.

Tactical RPG and dating sim, what can go wrong! so i started playing Agerest: Generations of war. Its a TRPG (like fire emblem, or final fantasy tactics [or any "tactics" game]) which is my FAVORITE genre. i got it on steam with all of the DLC... now here is my problem. The DLC gives you item packs to start out with, and i first thought "nifty, some starter gear to make the first bit easy" but as i saw the items i was getting i got more and more worried. It went from starter gear, to mid level gear to "end boss items". now it wouldn't be all that bad if there were some type of level lock on these items, "you require xxx agi to wield"... but it doesn't have that. when i could access my inventory i put on what looked like a godly sword, i didn't even see if it was a good one and it boosted my attack stat from a measly 78 to 956. Thats not even including the accessory or armor items i could equip, or the bonus skills, or whatever else i can equip in this game. So i tried to start again and turn the DLC off... which i couldn't do. And as far as i can tell there is no way to delete items. So even on the hardest difficulty i could breeze through it 1-shotting everything until the end game. and this is a LONG game. or i could deal with the 30+ random weapons clogging up my inventory all game. I don't like either option. This just became a very bad game.
