  1. The jam with revealing characters as LGBT+ in media is that it in all likelihood really isn't gonna seem like a big deal, or it'll seem like a big deal over a minor thing, to you if you aren't part of that demographic.  But to someone who is?  It's really nice and touching to have characters to relate to on that particular note.  And while I can't personally relate to Tracer herself what with me not being a lesbian lady, it both makes me happy that my friends who are have a character that they can say does canonically share that aspect of themself, and also gives me hope that more character's that I specifically can relate to will be written in the future.

I think the reveal itself in the comic was p well handled as far as this sorta thing goes, Tracer's actual personality as a bit of a friendly but hyperactive mess was front and center the whole time.

And as Bumscags said, the ideal would be to have it just be a normal thing without NEEDING to be a Big Cool Fancy Reveal.  But shit's not ideal.

I really like the various omnics in various human clothes

  2. I was actually expecting Lucio to be the easy choice for lgbt representation, since it'd be super easy to work into the story of a counterculture revolutionary musician

but yeah anything but the Widow + Tracer stuff, it's really jarring and makes minimal sense

So, I've decided that I need a new hobby, something I can do other than playing video games, blasphemies, I know.
I wanted something crafty to do, my mom can crochet and cross-stitch, and she's usually working on some project or another, but neither of those particularly interest me all that much.
But I remembered that Case made her a chainmail choker once, and that kind of craft seemed to catch my interest.

So, sometime around Christmas, I will begin my adventure in making chainmail jewelry.
I'm actually pretty excited, and it's my greatest hope that I can make this hobby into something I can get a little money out of.
I might consider making a thread to post my creations if people would be interested in seeing them.

you totally should make a thread when you start making stuff, that sounds rad as heck
