Today, Silver Wolf talks about Yooka-Laylee. I have heard about the backlash the game got, but I'm not too clear what it was about since I don't really follow the game's news.

One of the community managers (Alyssa) was answering questions on Reddit. I have never felt so bad for anyone before. I kinda wish they resign and start a new studio by themselves. Without those other folks. And call it Higher Resolution Gaming. Or Higher Rez for short.

I've never been more upset at a game before. Paladin's customization system is really damn good! And some of the champions have really unique kits that I've yet to see elsewhere. I was really happy with the game. And now they've gut the customization system. And a bunch of champs were rebalanced to fit the new system. I am pretty damn sure at least half the dev team felt like they were sawing their limbs off when implementing those changes. That was so much effort gone to waste. Gone.

Looks fantastic with rice actually. Also, Hi-Rez messed up again. For those wondering "What now?", just know that they made the grind even worse.

I went back to my Steam library and played through some of my games that I've not played for some time. I really like A Story About My Uncle. Probably will write about it once my exams are over.

Why do Dota2 people get to submit their stuff twice?

I only did so as a "thank you" to the TF Team. I got my cosmetics from the steam community market nowadays.

According to the newest patch notes: 1. Essence is now gone 2. All cards will be given for free 3. Each champion now has 4 Legendary cards 4. The 12-point system is gone too 5. Each card now has levels, which is increased by collecting duplicates, which in turn is gotten from Chests. 6. In Ranked, every card is set to Level 3 so everyone is on an equal playing field. In Quickplay, the normal levels apply. Getting rid of the 12 point system is one thing, the card levels are another altogether. Now you can't customize properly since you have a reason to just go for your higher-level cards, since tgey are objectively stronger. The Ranked thing is nice though.

Today, Medic talks about how Ratchet and Clank had changed. From her description, sounds like the developers just tried to make it as generic as possible to try to not offend anyone. They really dumbed the lore down it seems. Speaking of dumbing down, I think Hi-Rez just destroyed a good part of Paladins' customization. Guess I won't be going back ever again.

I don't know TOGE, I'm not a fan of that look.

Stock markets aren't exactly the most stable thing in the world though. Wait for a week and see what happens.

Won't be writing anything for the next three weeks by the looks of it. University's eating up a lot of my time. Probably will make it in time to write the two Christmas articles I hoped to do though. Or at least one of them.

It's an alpha, so I supposed they are ironing things out for now.
