  1. The SWBF2 thing, I remembered telling my friends this:

"What they should do is that they add Jar-Jar Binks into the game and make him the sole unlocakble character, requiring you to pay either $2000 or spend 6 months working to unlock him. That way, most people won't even want to look at Jar-Jar and won't mind his ridiculous unlocking condition, and trolls/streamers/YouTubers/fanatics will either grind like hell or sink cash to show off that they get the one character that's insanely hard to unlock, and everyone will be happy."

I still stand by that idea.

Today, Medic shows how to fight for Net Neutrality. It really winds me up they can just keep doing this crap over and over again, hoping for the day when brute force eventually wins out. It's ridiculous. Why isn't there a limit?

The legislation allows lobbying and conflicts of interest. Trusting a politician to voluntarily do the right thing is like trusting a lion to go vegan.

    The Purple is back!

It's nice to see him back though. He's one of those people I started watching because he was producing TF2 content, but then Stayed with because of their personality in the videos.

It sucked that he disappeared for 3 years, but I kinda understand his reasons behind it.

Not as natural as the motion control drawing but it's still pretty quick and easy to do  Would have liked to play it on the Wii though just to experience it myself.

Using the brush techniques is pretty good, although iirc some of the brush techniques don't register well. Engaging in combat is the #1 way to give yourself carpal tunnel syndrome, since you attack by wagging the Wiimote.

  5. I just found out that the Festive Spy-cicle exists.

Of all weapons that's the one that needs a festive version the least. I mean, it's an icicle! What next, Festive Holiday Punch? Festive Wrap Assassin?

I'm intentionally avoiding the articles for now as I haven't beaten it but will check them out after  I was playing it on PS2 back in the day but my brother sold his copy unaware I'd been playing it... Then I bought another when I got a job around 2014 and started hammering it... Then I mysteriously lost THAT copy. It's a very specific curse, it seems. Can't wait for the HD remaster to drop on PC and PS4... I actually bought the original HD release on PS3 on my sister's account but never ended up playing it because I DESPISE the DualShock 3 controller. Yes, that's a petty reason, but I really hate the controller that much. Getting the PS4 *PHYSICAL* version (YAAAAAY!) for christmas from my sister :D She found the rerelease news before I did and demanded to get it for me as a christmas present XD So yeah...

Now I'll finally, FINALLY be able to finish Ōkami! And this time I won't be late for the sake...  Yes, that has haunted me for years. After turning the house upside-down searching for hours for my old PS2 copy, I bought another to replace it, but I figured with the news of the HD versions being released I may as well go in fresh with one of those! Still glad I have an original copy again though

I played it on the Wii. I really can't imagine playing the game without the Wiimote and with a normal controller. Like, how do you draw with joysticks?

    Nice thumbnail.

The Eviction Notice is still pretty much the GRU-lite, and honestly I don't see much reason to use it in terms of mobility. It gives you half the speed of the GRU and drains at half the rate of the GRU. Going from point A to point B with the GRU and then doing the same with the Eviction Notice accrues the same cost. You just choose to get there faster or slower.

It used to be a good GRU-lite. It is the safer version since you can remove the debuff immediately by switching out, and you don't have a switch speed penalty on it. Now it literally just feels like a discount GRU.

I miss the old Eviction Notice.

Medicinal Warlock brings up emulation and what it would take to archive video game history.

Reminds me of a talk I watched on YouTube about what will happen to Flash games when Adobe stops supporting it. So many games potentially lost in an instant. It's where a lot of indie devs got their start in the scene. Baffling to think they can just pop out of existence, they should be preserved.

(...Also TOTALLY not playing Hedgehog Launch right now... I need to make a list of all the flash games I need to replay...)

Gamejolt and Newgrounds are probably the biggest archives of Flash games that I know of right now.

Man, now I want to go back and play some of them.

And during my time in Gamejolt, this is the weirdest thing I came across. I present to you all: Sluggish Morss: A Delicate Time in History

Medic decides to avoid the warpath. Lag and performance drops are definitely a good way to kill a fun time... I still don't get why TF2 is so cranky about what it does and doesn't like. My PC will run it decently for the most part on high settings (depending on map optimisation) meanwhile my mate's struggles to hit 30fps with everything on minimum, despite his PC having better specs than mine.

From what I heard, setting the settings on "high" actually helps performance, something about CPU, GPU and bottlenecking.

Not too clear what all that is about.
