Yep. Riot was a small dev team when it first started so they had poor resources, which is why LoL is not so optimized.But yeah a new graphical update is coming which will make the game a bit better looking.

Different art styles. Doesn't have any impact in actual gameplay. Also a big graphical update is in the works.
