Have any of you played this game? If so, is it any good? I normally wouldn't be interested in a game like this, but then they decided to slap my childhood on it for no reason.

I think I can deal with that. Dream Drop Distance has taught me how to get used to that.

Except in the 3DS version. Hats are cosmetic. At this point, I'm not seeing any reason to not buy the 3DS version over consoles, especially since the 3DS portal is the only one that is universal, except it doesn't work on Xbox.

The console version and the 3DS version are different. The 3DS version is a platformer, one thing that sparked my interest in it. And it came with what appears to be a Kingdom Hearts inspired Dark Spyro, though it supposed to be a reference to the Legend of Spyro apparently.

As long as you aren't forced to by extra figures, I can't imagine being too annoyed by it. What version did you play?
