  1. They're still active on their forums (the developers) and release new media and screenshots occassionally on their site and wiki. It's meant to be nearly 80% or so done I think.I hope it comes out soon! Half Life is still my favourtie game, and I still play it to this day.

  2. I was gifted this game from a friend, and when I recieved it I also had a gift to give to someone, so I did, and then they had a gift to give to someone, until everyone I know had a copy of the game. Did that happen to anyone else? If so, wouldn't everyone on steam have this game?

  3. I was once playing MW2 with a couple of friends and there was some kid with some name that included "iRoNiK. Back in the lobby after we stomped them in S&D, I asked him if he knew what Irony was, he said he didn't.I asked him why he had "iRoNiK" in his name then and he replied with "Oooohh Ironic, it's like when you have one type of dog, and your girlfriend has the same type of dog and you go 'That's ironic!'."

I think it would be ironic if we were all made out of iron.

  4. We need some subSPUFfers to become mods on SPUF to abuse their power. (I know we have Janobi and Ianskate, but they were mods long before this came about, so their loyalty may be more with mod > subSPUF).

I would say DualJay was being hypocritical when he mocked someone for not being known, while he himself is unknown. However the situation was ironic that DualJay mocked someone for not being known, while the same applies for him.

So DualJay was not being ironic. He was being hypocritical. However it was ironic that he said it.

Am I making a lick of sense here?

  5. ew, charity. Should've given all the money to the devs, and maybe 10% to humble bundle themselvesAt least those guys actually worked for it

By Charity I actually just meant the whole Humble Indie Bundle thing as a whole. I can't remember how the scaling thing worked, but I gave 60% to the developers and then 40% split in someway between the Humble Bundle crew and the actual charities, in the favour of the Humble Bundle people I think. While I think both the EFF and Child's Play are both very good causes, I'd prefer to donate my money to a different charity, like Amnesty International maybe.

  6. everyone trades for what they think looks good and that's about it.

Can you elaborate a bit more on this. So people actually do just trade for what they want? And there's no stupid spreadsheet stuff like in TF2? And there's nothing like vintage to screw up the market? People don't try and trade for a profit, just for what they want?

(I get why in TF2 some hats are more valuable than others, they look better, just came out etc, but the whole 'economy' got a bit carried away by itself)

  7. I haven't been following Dota 2 at all, and have never played DOTA 1, LoL, HoN or anything, but:

Dota 2 will not be a pay-to-win game. All the items in the store are cosmetic, and don’t affect gameplay.

Yes! Valve, you wonderful, wonderful company! I was a little dismayed by the direction TF2 has gone, but you've redeemed yourself! Here's hoping more multiplayer games will take the cosmetic only cash shop idea.Seriously, I'd be willing to pay $60 in Dota 2 just to give money to Valve, when I haven't spent a cent in the MannCo store.

  8. Generally you don't buy 'the disc', you buy the lisence to use 'the disc'. That's why copying and burning games and installing them on many computers can have copyright problems.Day 1 DLC is sometimes made by the developer once the main game is fully made, and they're just doing the final testing and packaging. Adding the DLC to the main game would actually push back the release. That's the explanation some devs have come up with, at least. On disc DLC is just downright shitty.I prefer expansion packs over DLC like the days of old :(

  9. Could potentially make alt-fire for rocket launchers a verticle jump. Make the sprite grow a little to simulate moving upwards, set a variable to make him ignore certain objects and damage. Mantreads and Gunboats get a use.3 clip rocket launchers could still be used. Fire three rockets at the normal rate, then a pause, then the next three. Though less fire rate is probably the best/easiest way to go about this.Certain weapons, like the razorback, could be slightly reworked, for example the razorback provides damage resistance to all attacks from the back. The degreaser could just give a damage boost to the next shot fired after switching weapon?

  10. I was really let down by the first one. I was hoping it would an incredibly over the top, almost satirical action film, which was completely mindless and EXPLOSIONS EXPLOSIONS EXPLOSIONS! Has anyone seen Shoot 'Em Up? I was sorta hoping for something like that.Instead it was just another run of the mill action movie. Hopefully the second one will be better.

  11. You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to binarycoder again.

Another bug I found, I'm not sure what caused it, but I think unequipping your primary weapon can cause it to disappear. I'll try and replicate it when I have more time. I'll also get drop box so you can get more storage, anything to help.As a suggestion, I feel rep gets attracted to you far too much. Or is that how you wanted it? It might be better if it still got attracted to you, but when you're a certain closeness to them.Lastly, does the Spy Crab Monarch crush the lesser spycrabs? It seemed like it, but the hitboxes were rather screwed up. Many of the smaller ones were getting destroyed as soon as they spawned, even when it didn't look like they were touching the monarch.Other than that, all your changes are amazing. Love the health system, love the new hat, love the spycrabs, love the cute little pyro. Awesome work!
