I mean don't get me wrong, liberals want everything to be "fair". For social policies, it usually works out. Economically, however, the whole fairness system falls flat on its face. Multiple countries tried to take that route and looked what happened to them. balance isn't essential to competitive play at the highest level. good design is. and dota doesn't have it

there is no emphasis whatsoever on individual skill

yeah, you can be really creative in dota and most heroes are relevant in at least one strategy

but none of that matters when the most complicated play in the game is "hey use your ranged targeted aoe stun and then I'll nuke him for 1000 and they'll be out of the game"

I'm not going to defend some of riot's most recent balance changes but they're still a million times better than "we've introduced a new hero whose ultimate passively gives him global attack range"

I am also really not liking the idea of a skill-based sport require tons of time or money. Anything less and you will be at a disadvantage before your abilities as a player and as a team are even considered.

minecraft is the universal multiplayer game

the problem is that they're not uniformly thick -- the ends are much wider than the center, creating an uneven weight distribution that just happens to put half the monitor's weight right on top of the disc drive. if you can get a piece of wood, rigid plastic, or some other sheet of strong material, you could put it on top of the xbox and then put the monitor on that so that the pressure is moved to the corners of the case, which should be fairly sturdy. ideally the plank itself would be resting on something other than the xbox, but it should get you out of a pickle

this definitely isn't the best test

they did some things right (like the inclusion of more than two dimensions and the importance of issues) but a lot of questions themselves were just shitty

some were poorly worded and some were just so vague and general that they were completely devoid of all meaning

with that said, here is the correct result:

the only reason to use mumble is because it's free. there is no reason to pay for a mumble server over a different chat client

fraps is incredibly straightforward and works really well. obviously it's paid but it's one of the best programs out there. if you're not willing to pay you should at least pirate it
