I've heard about Thumpgineers being overpowered. But I love my SMG too much, so i'll stick with it. TCN is tons of fun.

It's the substitue swear in Tribes: Ascend. Tribes' version of Red Dwarf's "smeg", if you know that.

For anyone who doesn't play Tribes, the Jackal is basically like giving the Spy the Grenade Launcher and Stickybomb Launcher, and he can use them whilst invisible.

I agree. The preposterous cost of weapons and relatively high cost of classes and perks in xp kinda force you to pay up. Also, the Jackal was literally pay2win when it was released. I still think it's overpowered, but if releasing op weapons is their business model? I'm worried.

Started playing TCN some more recently (Generator defense on the new map Raindance is so easy) snd it's helped me realise how stupidly powerful the Jackal is. It's basically a three-round burst automatic sticky launcher, and the damage and the radius are stupidly high. The bane of a TCN's existence.

Juggernaut: so satisfying when you land an Artillery Shot across the map with the Fusion Mortar. His Fusion Mortar is amazing for outside bombardment, but if you want to troll on the insides use the MIRV Launcher.
