  1. That horrible feeling when your level 54 marauder dies to a rare voidbearer with haste accompanied by a group of voidbearers that all have multiple projectiles. They took me down from 2500 life to 0 in less than a second. :(

    It was on Hardcore, too

  2. Sorry for the double post and bump guys, but look at this match I recently had. http-~~-//pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou3486217 The end is so sad yet hilarious at the same time.

I'll never understand why people use Ambipom when Mienshao exists.

  3. Well, I got my copy of Black 2, after the most bullshit I've had in a day. Here's what happened. 1:I go to the mall and forget the receipt that I need to get the game. No problem, it's my fault, takes 5 minutes to get home and back. 2:I walk into the mall, and look at the game store. There's a line of 15-20 people waiting to get their copies. My fault again, but meh. 3:It takes the cashier 40-45 minutes to get 15 people a copy. I'm getting a bit impatient. After the 15 people are finished, it's my turn to get a copy. 4:They ask for my receipt, which I whip out from my wallet. They then ask for ID. I flash my passport and they say they can't give me a copy. My rage is increasing at this point. Apparently, they mis-spelled my last name on the receipt by 1 letter. After 20 minutes of me trying to convince them otherwise, they finally say sorry and apologize for the mistake they made. I then get my copy.

This is why retailers can honestly just die in a fire. It's so tedious.

  4. That reminds me that the weapon stat variation is rather small on this game. On 1, I remember finding Masher Revolvers with bonus damage, machine guns with good accuracy and high fire rate, shotguns with both good damage and good accuracy, but on 2, the stats are kinda fixed for each weapon type.

Legendary items have a huge stat variation. Check out the different variations of the Bee shield. There's major differences in shield capacity, recharge delay, amp damage, and some versions even give you immunity to shock damage or corrosive damage. Also,

    Vermivorous the Invincible

is a huge troll. First time we got him to spawn in 5 minutes. Second try? Took us well over 2 hours for him to spawn again.

143 hours on Borderlands 2 so far, I have nothing better to do.

  5. What is the difference between this and Quake Live? Does it have different maps or something?

Quake Live is a dumbed down version of Quake 3 Arena. Premium bullshit, no ability to create maps, models, etc. QuakeWorld is the gateway to Quake 1 multiplayer, and multiplayer mods like Team Fortress. On that note, I wasn't aware anyone still played QuakeWorld. Last few times I checked for servers on Qtracker there were only empty ones. Quake 2 still has a few servers going strong, and Quake 3 Arena is far from dead.

  6. Played a bit of Tribes again today, there is a new gamemode which is essentially CTF but with changing flag positions. It was a ton of fun as Pathfinder, until Hirez yet again showed waht a bunch of monkeybrains they are and decided it would be a good idea to put flags in the goddamn genroom. Come on, you'd think they would realise why that doesn't work

Blitz Katabatic 4-4 so fon. That is until a Brute managed to get the enemy flag and made it back to our base without dying.

  7. BLU Spy stabs the RED Engineer, saps his buildings, and is killed by the RED Pyro. Buildings are destroyed. RED pyrohic (heh) victory.OrBLU Spy stabs the RED Engineer, saps his buildings, and is killed by the RED Pyro with the Homewrecker/Sign. Buildings survive. BLU has utterly failed to do anything of value.

In both cases the Engineer was killed. Now you can spam bullets/projectiles and the Engineer won't be there to repair his buildings.

  8. I don't feel like going into thisbottom line is giving the Pyro sapper removal makes taking down a sentry as spy ridiculously hard, with a skill balance so weighed to the Pyro's side it has a 90 degree angle with the floorPS: to those saying "teamwork is OP", please, no offense, but kindly go choke on a million dicks, because that is NOT where this is about, at all

You complain about the fact you lost a 1v2 battle. How about coordinating with your team to take down that sentry nest? While you sap the buildings have a Demo spam stickies/Solly spam rockets at the nest. Pyro cannot airblast the stickies/rockets away because (s)he is too busy removing the sappers and/or killing the Spy.
