I sort of impulse-bought the game after playing the beta. If you've been looking for a good racing game for a while, maaaaybe wait for it to go on sale, or at least wait for me to give the all-clear for the glaring issues noted before.

The other parts of the game make up for it, to me at least. The devs said they're looking into fixing the cops. You can also do other things enough so that the car you use for the mission is way overleveled for the mission, and that makes it a bit easier.

I'm really liking The Crew, except for two very, VERY, EXTREMELY infuriating flaws. 1. The police are way overpowered. No mission including the police is ever fun. They can brake from 150 to 0 in a second and you can't wrestle your way out, and they can shove you very easily even if you're grinding right up next to them. The capture bar also continues to fill even if you have an opening and you are driving out. It's just bullshit. 2. Takedown missions are absurdly hard. You need to drive perfectly or else the other car will get too far ahead of you to ever catch up. Sometimes you're actually faster than the other car and you have to slow down only just enough so that you can stay side-by-side with it. Plus they work on a health bar instead of just performing a takedown move to slow them to a halt. That's how it worked in Burnout: Paradise (and how the cops capture you) and that's how it always should be. Imagine my frustration when a mission throws both of these together, with the car to be taken down is a BUS with more than double the health of any other target beforehand, is nigh impossible to shove around, and has support from the bullshit cops. And then the servers go down. At least I got in my hour-and-a-half round trip faction mission in beforehand. PJSalt

Mine is set to any friend, no request needed. I'm pretty confident that my computer can handle 720p streaming when the need arises. It worked with The Crew so it should work fine for most other games. So, hop in and watch me play stuff, if ya want. I guess I'll announce here if I'm playing anything of note. Probably lots of The Crew and Tales from the Borderlands whenever new episodes pop up. I'll probably get around to The Wolf Among Us as well.

I guess The Crew is out now, or at least available for download on Uplay. Dunno why GMG gives out uplay codes instead of steam codes but I guess it doesn't really matter.

Darksiders 2 is 85% off. It's actually really good, better than DS1 IMO. Also unlike DS1, it's optimized for PC. Though the default keyboard controls aren't the best, it has gamepad support and you can rebind keys.

By adding what is essentially an entire second map (that happens to correspond to the main map) that's gated by story progress they can put whatever they want in it. Of course the way to get a lot of the legendaries while soaring are either A: very hard to do or B: relatively easy but incredibly obscure Also, you could barely get any legendaries in b/w and x/y. About time they put most of them back in circulation, I guess.

I just figured out how to Wector and now every fight is going to be the most fun thing ever. I had to pause mid-battle just to get my giggles out.

Vectoring shenanigans aside, Wario is actually REALLY good. His bite has absurd priority (on top of being a grab) and he can swallow most any projectile. I think I've found a new offmain. Also, fighting Ness is STILL the most stressful experience one can have in 1v1 for glory. Pikachu has become more manageable but Ness is just sad times.

Wii U doesn't really use friend codes, it actually uses usernames for fuckin once.
