Remember that DOTA 2 is a sequel and is still technically a work on progress. There are some heroes in the original DOTA that haven't made it to the sequel quite yet. Faceless Void has one of the most well-known Ultis for the sole fact that he can freeze both enemies and allies in a time bubble. Lone Druid is actually almost never alone, as he has a bear companion, and can theoretically farm twice as fast as other heroes. Phantom Lancer can create illusions that are really great for ganking and stuff. I dunno about Spectre. Keep in mind that this knowledge is only from watching matches of DOTA 2. I've barely even touched the game. Fuckin. Ninjas.

Unboxed a Misty Skull Your Worst Nightmare. Kind of stupid because the skull is right above the head. And it glows. Very brightly. And it's a Sniper hat. Still, I can probably get any unusual I want with this.

So I was browsing my Twitter feed as usual when I see that several people (most of which gamers, game podcasters, lead devs, etc) were tweeting @Polygon and polygon.com. I decided to see what all the fuss was about and... Lo and behold, it's a professional news website just for vidya games! Give it a look. I'll take professional news over Kotaku (and IGN, and Gamespot, and Gametrailers...) any day. Being a journalism student, I know these guys know their shit. Since it's on the Internet, they can let articles go as long as they want, but they keep the inverted pyramid structure complete with money quotes and kickers. In fact, some articles are actually made up of several different sub-sections, much like a magazine. I love it. One more thing, they have this sort of progressive approach to scores. I dunno what that means but it'll be interesting to see how they rate games.
