I barely play any of these games but the soundtracks are still way worth it.If you're gonna pay the 10 bucks, do it for the Offspring Fling soundtrack and BLUESCREEN.BLUESCREEN is actually pretty easy listening for a chiptune album.

So you know those old Scout and Medic concepts that Weta Workshop did?I noticed that the Scout's hat look a bit familiar.Then I remembered.We NEED a Rocketeer hat for Soldier. Doesn't look like it would have too many polys.Can someone get to work on this? I would love it to death.EDIT: Also, submit it as a sound device that would muffle the Soldier's voice. Then it's perfect.

Checked out the Berserker skill trees...there's only one damage mitigation skill here so far, which gets you 5% health back per crit at the first level. I suppose it could be a lot more powerful if it ramps up to 20% health with a few skill points put into it.

Alright, we need to organize a time to play co-op or something. It's a bit too late for me to get into a game right now, otherwise I'd be waking up after noon tomorrow again.

I'm surprised no one has taken that lumbricus lid yet. I think I'll snatch that one up. I'll even wear it for a month or two before the obvious happens.

If you're going Alchemist then I suggest using a wand and shield, then focus on spellcasting. Alchemists are very squishy, so you're going to want to stay away with wands and get the best shield you can. Minions are nice, but they're a pain to resummon and buff all the time if you're training in spellcasting too. Frost Shock + Fire Gem = total destruction.If you're going Destroyer, then do anything besides the spectral tree. It's pathetic.If you're going Vanquisher then make sure you stick to one main skill tree and put a few points into just one other. It's very dangerous to spread skills too far with Vanquisher.Also, for fishing, you want to press the hook button when the outside ring lines up with the inside. It kind of clicks into place.

I think it's worth whoring half your backpack if you don't really care about items.Unfortunately, I'm a strange hoarder. Good thing I already pre-ordered.This beta is driving me insane, I want the whole game already!

The main storyline quest line only takes about an hour, but there's enough extra content to last for at least 3 more, and that's just playing it as one class. Finished my run on Engineer and working through my Embermage run now.Engineer is definitely a tank; there's a great force-field move that gives you and your teammates an extra layer of protection depending on the amount of charge you build up, definitely a must-have for team play or soloing. You can also go support and build robots to heal, shoot stuff, and apply various effects. Then there's the AoE tree, of which literally all of the powers within it are AoE, and they apply different effects as well. The last tree is purely for tanking, and rewards sword-and-shield loadouts.The Embermage's power trees are divided into fire, ice, and storm elements, but they serve different purposes. The fire tree is pure DPS- you're going to want to take a few skills in the other branches to keep yourself safe. The ice tree is for keeping enemies at bay and some crowd control, with several freeze effects and other powers to keep your enemies away from you (this branch also contains the Blink power). The Storm branch contains powerful and unpredictable spells, like a passive effect that teleports a random attacker somewhere away from you with a random elemental effect applied to it.Seems like both the Embermage and the Engineer are built with crowd control in mind. I'll report back with the other two classes once I've ran through with them.God damn this game is so awesome, and this is just the first 3 little teeny overworld areas.

I'd be more than happy to team on T2 this weekend. I've got an Engineer set up for team support already.
