Wisp isn't exactly a wellspring of mana either, and by the time you have a mek then you likely aren't having too many mana problems anymore. Magic immunity is HUGE throughout the game and can mean the difference between winning and losing fights, which is why BKB is so universally useful. Omni eliminates the need for one as well as giving one that has a longer duration than a BKB. Wisp, however, does not. Because apparently you need global teleportation so badly that you picked Wisp. Well it's not like it'd be balanced if it had a 10 second cooldown. Pretty sure he can give you mana with mana boots, just not as much. Guardian Angel also provides absurd regen for its duration, for what it's worth. How so?

Assuming Omniknight also has a Mek, he can heal you for 250+360=610 health, as well as nuking any enemies who happen to be in the radius for 360 PURE damage. The 15 health doesn't really make that much of a difference. Advantage-Omniknight. Omniknight's heal nuke has a shorter cooldown than Wisp's, and heals allies at the same time, which easily makes up for the 140 damage difference, situationally dependent. Wisp's also cannot manually be used to push a creep wave. Omniknight's is also pure damage while Wisp's is magical. I'll call that one a draw. Full magic immunity easily beats a 20% damage block, and doesn't hurt the caster to use. Full physical immunity is also far better and applies to the whole team if they're nearby. This is where Furion comes in. Furion also isn't forced back to his starting position 12 seconds after teleporting. And, of course, there's always Boots of Travel which have a similar ability.
