You are right in saying Drow won't be useless because she will still have Marksmanship part of the time, I was incorrect about that. However, when she doesn't, she really will be a walking slow/silence because her agility gain per level without marksmanship is worse than Treant's. Not anything like what an agility carry needs to be effective.

The problem is that Drow now relies entirely on the enemy trying to run away. If they don't and man up to face her, she loses all her damage and gets out-rightclicked by Crystal Maiden. There's so many ways to close the gap between you and Drow that Marksmanship is basically a farming skill. Remember that any one hero must be that close to cancel Marksmanship, so you have a Tidehunter or something, ANYTHING who commonly builds blink dagger or can otherwise close the gap, and she loses all her damage. If she was weak to ganks and gapclosers before, now a single one on a whole team makes her completely useless.
