  1.

I'm doing it through steam so if anybody wants to watch they can

     how

by launching MPC-HC through steam to allow for broadcasting

edit: or did you mean how can they watch? by going to my steam profile and clicking watch, of course

  2. So that raises the question. To make room for, say, two additional lands, and let's say 2 Thassas, what do I drop?

Assume I've already replaced Arbor Colossuses with Sagu Maulers; and Prog Sphinx, Brood Hydra, and Prophetic Flamespeaker exchanged for Savage Knuckleblades.

  3. One or two copies of Thassa, God of the Sea will stupidly help you. Gives you everything you want-free scry and unblockability. It doesn't matter if you don't get your devotion up, her just being there will be enough. Great synergy with Flamespeaker adept, as well.

That was another thing I looked at. Expensive card, though. I'll get over my cheapness eventually.

I don't honestly see a place for any of the current standard planeswalkers in my deck. Would a Kiora or something really be worth the money for my deck?

  4. If you say so.

My deck generally wants to kill you with creature damage, and do it fast. Ideally, this creature damage is going to be unblockable thanks to Aqueous Form, with Negate/Temur Charm as a layer of protection against such problems as Deflecting Palm or any general kind of spot removal.

Obviously, the ideal situation is going to have 1 or more Flamespeaker Adepts with Aqueous Form on them out at a time, constantly using whatever scry abilities I can muster up to buff their damage as much as possible. Another way that I've found works very effectively is to get a Sagu Mauler out on turn 4-5 using a Rattleclaw Mystic and at least 3 lands. If I can proceed to get an Aqueous Form up on it, it becomes very difficult to deal with if I have some kind of counter to any enchantment-destroying effects, like the aforementioned Negate or Temur Charm.

Since I'm swinging every turn with whatever creature I have out with Aqueous Form, I also needed some way to defend myself from other creature strategies, which is where the Hornet Nests come in. I love it because it makes the opponent extremely wary of attacking me with any kind of non-flying high power creature. And if they do decide to go for it, they have to deal with multiple 1/1 flying deathtouch tokens.

My draw power isn't very high, but that is partially offset by the amount of Scry power that I have letting me pick and choose what cards I'm willing to draw and what I'm not.

I'm going to be picking up two more Sagu Maulers off eBay or something and replacing the Arbor Colossi with them. The Arbor Colossi are just what I happened to have on hand.

I'll take out the Prog Sphinx and replace it with another Knuckleblade. Maybe replace the Prophetic Flamespeaker and Hydra Broodmaster with an additional two more for the playset?

  5. That's a lotta 1, 2, and 3 ofs, many of which are crazy high cost generic fats.  You want consistancy.  More Rattleclaw Mystics, ditch Prog Sphinx it's bad, knuckleblades are too good to have just 1 of, in general you need a tighter focus for what you want to accomplish.

edit: 19 land is a risky number.  Pop that to 22, perhaps?

Do I really need 22 lands if I go to 4 Rattleclaw Mystics?

I rarely have mana problems as it is.

  6. The router should be aware of the network and mask that it is attached to. So, it will shunt out packets towards the direction of the LAN that matches it, regardless of whether or not the host address exists.

Once it leaves the router's interface, it's no longer the router's concern.

If you have Packet Tracer, going into Simulation Mode, initiating a ping, and then watching the process span the network is truly interesting.

I'm talking about a router whose only responsibility is the LAN it contains, with no further routers behind it.

I was referring specifically to how a router would receive a packet that no host on its network solicited. Since the router would have no record of traffic being requested by a host on its network from that IP/on that port, the packet would be denied, since the remote host wouldn't know anything more than the public IP of the router the host is behind, meaning the router would have no idea which host on its network the remote host wanted the packet to go to.

  7. HELP ME SUBSPUF

    I AM IN DIRE NEED

HOW DOES A ROUTER KNOW WHICH HOST ON ITS LAN TO DIRECT PACKETS TO IF THE PACKETS WERE NOT ORIGINALLY REQUESTED BY THAT HOST

WOULDN'T THE REMOTE HOST ONLY KNOW THE IP OF THE ROUTER, SO THE ROUTER WOULDN'T KNOW WHICH HOST TO DIRECT THEM TO SINCE IT DOESN'T HAVE A RECORD OF PACKETS BEING REQUESTED BY THE HOST

EDIT: WAIT A SECOND, THAT WOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE ROUTER WOULD HAVE NO RECORD OF PACKETS BEING REQUESTED SO IT WOULDN'T KNOW WHERE TO ROUTE THEM TO

THAT'S WHY YOU FORWARD PORTS, SO THAT UNSOLICITED TRAFFIC ON PORT X WOULD GO AUTOMATICALLY WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE

    NEVERMIND

  8. I just had the most vivid dream(nightmare?) experience I've had in a long time.

All I remember is I was locked in combat with some guy. I don't even remember what he looked like, all I know is that me and him were fighting. He was wielding a spear and at some point, I was knocked down and then impaled by that spear, right in the gut. It hurt so fucking bad, I can't even describe it. I guess this is what my subconsciousness believes that being impaled by a spear feels like, but it was not fun. I was screaming in agony, coughing up blood in a desperate attempt to not drown in it. I can still taste the iron in my mouth and as that incredible pain went on, I felt myself grow faint and cold, the stabbing pain turned into dull thuds of pain and then the world grew dark.

That's when I woke up, bathed in sweat and breathing heavily. I know it's my mind playing tricks on me, but my stomach is hurting right now. Don't think I'll be going back to sleep.

    Damn, dude. That's beyond horrifying.

    Sorry that happened to ya.

  9. Well, it snowed today, so the whole deck-getting expedition didn't really happen

Oh well. I've been playing Magic 2014 which someone very close to me bought for us both, which is fun too. Not quite like playing physically, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

Hopefully it will still happen soon.
