I love how in Platinum, that walk-park thing will allow only "cute" pokemon... except they allow any and all starter forms. Yeah, that Torterra's sure an adorable forest-turtle. edit: oh jesus new type info confirmed [spoiler2] Grass-type Pokémon are no longer affected by Leech Seed, Spore, Stun Spore, PoisonPowder or Sleep Powder (breloom just became even worse) Electric-type Pokémon can no longer be Paralyzed (uh-oh) Ice-type Pokémon can no longer be Frozen (...kinda surprised that's never been a thing before, honestly) Ghost-type Pokémon are no longer affected by moves that trap them such as Mean Look (shrug) Fairy weak to poison and steel, outright immune to dragon, and hits dragon, dark, and fighting super-effective (hoo boy) Steel no longer resists dark or ghost (they hit neutral). Turns out Zebstrika is like the ultimate counter to Elesa's gym in 1. Immunity to electric means no volt switch, and then just hammer away at it with Return/Flame Charge. Gen 5 had seven of them evolving at 50 or above: Hydreigon- 64 (hell, its stage 2 Zweilous is at 50) Bisharp, Braviary and Mandibuzz- 54 Mienshao, Zweilous-50 Volcarona- 59 Before that there were precisely three evolutions at 50 or above. Salamence, Dragonite, Tyranitar. Get your shit together, Game Freak.
