So long story short, my roommate's desktop can't connect to anything ingame. Invites, server browser, console, none of it works. (Invites and console connection get "connection failed after 4 retries" and browser just has nothing showing up at all). Reinstalling didn't work, and we're out of ideas. So uh help?

Just had the kind of unfortunate moment that really only happens once in a lifetime. As Pyro on Badwater defense, waiting at the top of the cliffs at the start of round. Soldier A with Jumper/Gardener comes flying at me trying to do his thing. Soldier B fires a regular rocket from ground level. I reflect B's rocket into the airborne A by total accident (I was trying to just push A out of reach). It suspends him in the air just long enough to Market Gardener me.

He's installing something for that now (I think he's trying nuclear dawn... he has a surprisingly small library). It'll be a while. What would the respective options be if it does/doesn't work with that?

Do you mean games at all or server-type games? I know he was just playing PvZ, so the former is yes. Not sure about ones that need server connections.

So my roommate's desktop can't connect to any servers in TF2. As in, when using "find servers" nothing shows up in any sections of the browser. (quickplay doesn't work either- it literally says "no available servers etc") Reinstalling didn't work either. So any ideas?
