Of all the games you've played, what moments do you always remember as your favorites?Me, I have three. 1) About halfway into Dragon Quest 5, the PC has just gotten married and had two children, like a day ago. Minutes later, the infants get kidnapped, and you and wife go off to find them. You do manage to rescue them, but then you and wife get turned to stone for (in-game) several years. The player has to watch a montage of these years, about half of which is with your statue knocked over. It's brilliantly done, and gives the player a reason to want to kick the villains' asses.2) The supercharged Gravity Gun from HL2. HEY COMBINE! *ragdoll bowling*3) Hollow Bastion from KH1. This is one of the few levels in that game I have literally no complaints about.
