Okay, now Valve's just fucking with us.

I've been seeing approximately 2.43 threads a day on SPUF regarding the lack of updates. Six in total, the RIFT stuff and the Shogun stuff.However, the Uber Update went live on June 23 of last year. We've got a week before SPUF is justified in mild indignation. (flame wars are still not justified)

I see it as both, depending on the arc. The final 20 chapters or so were pretty lame, but the Magic World arc was insanely epic, as were the many awesome fights within.

The 23rd is this Saturday. I think if there's nothing after that, the flame wars are understandable, if not justified.

Yes, Apple has a yearly conference. And holy balls, they're delivering today. After some standard Air and Pro updates, they introduced some sort of Air-Pro hybrid thing with hilariously epic specs. 15.4" 2880x1800 display, 2.3Ghz quad-core processor, 8GB RAM, GT 650M 1GB, 256GB flash SSD... $2199. That's the baseline. No, seriously. And we haven't even gotten to the desktops and iStuff yet.

Long story short, more cores= faster processor. There's a lot of technical crap in there, but I don't understand well enough to explain the details. That's a pretty damn good machine you linked, and I agree on all accounts for your comment.

And remember, education pricing drops the price by a decent bit (the $2199 thing from above becomes $1999, and the entry-level 13" Pro goes from $1199 to $1099).

God, it's like blind hatred is the only thing Macs can get. And the $2199 is the baseline for the specs I mentioned above.

Find me a laptop with 8GB of ram, a 256GB SSD, and quad-core processor for cheaper. Then find any laptop ever with that display specs.
