I've discovered the most spammable ultimate attack in Xenoverse: Nappa's Giant Storm. Big explosion directly under enemy's current location, nearly impossible to dodge. In Super Saiyan big blasts can be used endlessly as long as you have ki. I downed Mira in thirty seconds flat with that combo. It's ridiculous.

Proving baseball makes no fucking sense, the adventures of Kirk Nieuwenhuis: Played on the Mets from 2012-2014, thoroughly mediocre. Played like shit for the first month of 2015, was traded to a different team for money. That team didn't want him and released him, at which point the Mets picked him back up. Today he was the first Met ever to hit three home runs in a home game. Baseball is weird, yo.

Adventures in Xenoverse: The RNG was kind today. Got Super Saiyan and the item needed to advance Vegeta's training on the first try each. Super Saiyan is incredible. All blast moves cost no energy while it's active (the transformation drains energy slowly) and get a buff. Spam big blasts, use recharge move, repeat, profit.

hm. I'll put it on the maybe list then. Meanwhile, the true evil of Xenoverse: the RNG. The way to unlock most skills and such is Parallel Quests, usually by getting the "ultimate finish," which has a trigger condition. For instance, the quest that can give the Super Saiyan transformation is you vs Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, and Goku. You fight two at a time: Vegeta shows up after one of the first two go down, and after he and whoever's left go down Krillin and Goku show. That's every time. To trigger the ultimate finish you have to kill Krillin before Goku. Then Goku goes Super Saiyan, you defeat him, and you get the skill. Except Goku going SS isn't guaranteed, it's on a random system. And after that, it's random whether you'll actually get the skill. I've done it five times so far. The first time, Goku went SS, but I lost the fight. The second, he went SS and I won. No drop. The next three times, he didn't go SS. (I still finished it, because it's good XP at this stage.) Bleh. I'm going to bed. I'll try more tomorrow, I guess.

Adventures in Xenoverse: So I deleted my character and re-made her at level 1 because I wanted to redo the stat allotment. Turns out you keep all progress on levels, items, abilities, etcetera even with a new character. Current plan: Spec everything into Ki Blast Supers and Health, 15 to one, then 15 to the other (you get 3 points per level-up), rinse and repeat while occasionally putting stuff into Ki and Basic Attack. Also SO MANY PARALLEL QUESTS OH GOD edit: anyone here play the last of us? I know it got glowing reviews but I prefer first hand info.

I don't even know how to describe this one. Everyone on Earth suddenly becomes immortal and invincible, but every 20th person essentially has to become a pack mule for the other 19. (I was one of the 20). Some time later in the dream, everyone who wasn't a pack mule starts getting really bored and depressed. Then there was some shit about a clock that I don't really remember and then I woke up.

Yesterday at work I dropped a plate and it didn't break. The same thing happened Friday. I should buy a lottery ticket.
