So two or so hours in and some thoughts/notes: - I feel like they tried way too hard on the extended prologue. It was interesting, yes, but it didn't feel right to me. Admittedly, my only experience with Fallout is New Vegas, but there it was "okay, here's your backstory, here's your goals, have fun" in the first ten minutes. Here I just got back to Sanctuary post-apocalypse and now the prologue is done. - I note the characters still have the classic Bethesda dead eyes. My character basically ended up looking like this guy. - As soon as I saw Codsworth hanging around 200 years later he became my favorite character forever.

aaaaand I'm on PS4 so that won't work. Balls. Any recs for initial SPECIAL build? I think in New Vegas I put a ton into Luck and Agility for VATS spam and gambling.

Finally got around to getting this. Anything I need to know before diving in?

The APPLAUSE light is some Pavlovian shit, let me tell you. It goes on for half a second and everyone goes nuts. But it was still really cool to see in person. Ray's interview was pretty great though (Speaking with a mild bias, of course), and the musical guest was solid (Country singer, not my normal taste, but very good).

Update number I don't even know anymore: So they did try to direct deposit, as evidenced by the deposit slip they finally emailed today... but they got the account number wrong. Packers and Steelers fans are the equivalent of Yankee fans to me: Eternal bandwagoners that root for the good teams because they're good. You're not a true fan of a team until you've been to a game during a losing season and cheered the shitty backups. That is my earnest opinion.

Meanwhile the refs are handing the game to the Packers. As always.

That was an ugly, ugly football game. And now the Patriots, Steelers, Broncos, and Chiefs are the AFC teams left. In order: fuck the Patriots forever fuck the Steelers forever Kansas City beat my baseball team in the World Series and knocked my football team out of the playoffs indirectly ...I have nothing against the Broncos GO NFC Also, I'm honestly beginning to wonder if the NFL's days are numbered. The officiating this year was atrocious, the commissioner's a moron, the evidence about concussions and CTE is piling up despite the NFL's best efforts, the daily fantasy crap is taking a hit, and all this dirty play and off the field crap is being noticed and scrutinized more than ever before. I know the NFL is making a truly ludicrous amount of money for a ludicrous number of people and businesses, but something has to give, right? Am I the only one thinking this might be the beginning of the end?
