The anime is Filler: The Series. When they get to the actual content it's pretty decent, but Studio Pierrot has a bad tendency for FLASHBACKS. Also they seem to be competing with themselves to see how much they can spoil in each opening. The manga's faster to read, but sometimes the art gets a bit confusing. It doesn't help that the extremely long battle arc caused every single piece of terrain in the region to be "Yet Another Flat Dusty Plain." Either way, the key is do not think too hard.

So after two more hours of dicking around on the ORAS server, I have concluded five six seven things. 1) Suddenly, Flying is the king of the metagame. I'm dead serious. And terrified. 2) Mega Lopunny is not as awesome as I'd initially thought. It's the redux of DPP Electivire- neutral coverage on everything is good, but it's not going to win games. It's dangerousl, but there are a lot of ways to trip it up. 3) Mega Altaria is way better than its stats would have you believe. DDance, Body Slam with Pixilate, Quake, Roost. Combined with its bulk and resistances (Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Bug, Fighting, Dark, and a Dragon immunity), and it is tough to bring down. Still figuring out a team to put around it though. 4) I'm totally making a team centered around Mega Slowbro running Calm Mind. 5) I accidentally gave a Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Beam instead of Voice and it was the funniest thing ever. 6, three hours later) oh DAMN Mega Gallade is good 7, two more hours later) Oh my god Mega Slowbro. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/orasou-176467988
