Oh, they're connected all right. Honestly though, just read a let's play or something. There are absolute walls of text in the game. Kotomine's "so here's what you've gotten yourself into" monologue (which is in all three routes) is ninety screens of text. The other problem is that of the three routes, they're meant to be played in a specific order (Fate > UBW > Heaven's Feel) because they don't give you all the info each time (notably, a critical plot point in HF is based on a critical plot point of UBW) On another note, I don't care if it's in the main show, but please let Ufotable animate the Sparks Liner High and Nine Bullet Revolver bits from HF as extras or something. Please.
