  1. Before I came to England and had to leave my controller behind, I was doing a stealthy knives-only runthrough.  Haven't touched the main quest yet, but I've already done the Dark Brotherhood ones, I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Thieves Guild one, and I just started Dragonborn.  It's crazy fun, actually.  You have to be REALLY careful, because if you fuck up your stealth...you ded.

i too was playing daggers-only on my current character, when i discovered how hilariously fun tf2 spy in skyrim is with the invisibility spell.

  2. I tried it on a quickplay server and it worked.

do you know if one has to use the kill command to make this work? or is it possible to just bind a key to the "use" part and do that right after a normal death?

  3. Last night I had a bizarre dream in which mitt romney apparently committed suicide but on further examination his suicide note proved to be a hologram containing the chemical structure of some toxin which proved that he had been murdered? I don't even know where that came from...

  4. This game has been out for a while but apparently I'm the only spuffer who plays it. So I'm here to tell you why you should check it out. :)

It's basically a single-player co-op game where you control both of the titular brothers with the left and right stick on a controller. The game manages to use that as part of the telling of the story, something I haven't really seen in games. There are a few puzzles that you must solve, using both of the brother's special abilities, which again ties into the story. It's an interesting control scheme, and it's not hard to pick up.

The rest of the tale is told purely through the settings and character's body language - there's no intelligible dialogue. I don't want to talk too much about the story though, don't want to spoil anything.

Personally my favorite part of the game was the environments, there are some pretty fantastic settings in the game (a battlefield of giants, for instance) and they all look pretty great. You can't really interact to any great extent with NPC's because of the no dialogue thing, but what interaction there is is pretty cool, for the lack of words involved. There aren't too many enemies, and fighting them is more of a puzzle than a battle, but each one requires a different approach, using both brothers to get around it, so they're not boring to encounter. The music's also pretty awesome, I've been listening to it all day.

So yeah, y'all should check the game out. I should warn you that it's kinda short, took me 4 hours to beat it. But I don't really mind that, I don't play most of games for more than a few hours anyway. It's almost like a playable movie, but one that doesn't suck and rely on quick-time events. It's quickly become one of my favorite games for story, and in general I think that stories just get in the way of gaming. So give it a try, if you get a chance, you won't regret it :D
