  1.

Alright, we're getting close to starting this shyte up. Just a few things need to be done, now:

    -Are we using Binary's map?

-How many bases should we have? (At this point there will only be two or three teams, so keep that in mind)

-Where will the Artifacts be for everyone/everyteam?

-What do you guys think about my idea:

I'm thinking of toying with the idea that visiting a base for the first time will give you an item that allows you to find the general locations of artifacts - Just so people don't have to stumble around like idiots and there's no accusations of metagaming. It can either be just going to a single base allows you to see the entire map or perhaps certain bases unlock parts of a map. It depends on how much focus we'd want to put onto bases.

I feel a new base for every capture point is reasonable. But that also raises the question of what the locations of the capture points are.

Then, artifacts: I feel 3 or 2 per team is understandable. Just spread them out (maybe 50 m away from the main base??)

Finally: your idea is fantastic, and I think we should implement it immediately.

  2. I guess I dont have a team.

    FREELANCER HO!

Yeah imma just Freelance. Maybe I'll tack on for a mission or two or like temporary protection or an artifact or something.

Men die, but trade goes on.

    B-b-but . . .

    We have . . . guns . . .

  3. HEY FELLAS!

Are you tired of your battlefield being populated and dominated by fetish workers and hippies? If yes (which it OBVIOUSLY IS!), come on down to the recruitment office for the ICBM (Inter-continental Badass Mercenary) Squad!!

    [spoiler2]

    Inter-continental Badass Mercenary (ICBM) Squad

This rowdy platoon of soldiers-for-hire is up to no good, where-ever they go! From urban espionage to full out combat, these expert soldiers are trained to the utmost limit!

    Leader(s): Comeau (Warzone Cowboy)

    Members:

    Team Spawnpoint:

1047 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025 (The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine).

    NPC Appearance:
Standard outfit of the Canadian Armed Forces, bar the fact that they are all black, with yellow splotches on the back.

    Base Appearance:
A ossuary-blockhouse structural mix made of blast-proof bricks (referred to as the "Warhead", as it is semi-dome shaped on the top) over a mountain of weapons, ammunition, and supply crates. To the side are heated beds, and two entrances to an underground section with more living supplies.

    Team Artifacts:

    A set of solid-gold broadswords.

Unlocking ults probably should be a character thing, like how my character's ult is based on battle-synchronization. If you want to be able to pop your ult the second you see someone, you should be able to - as long as it has a cost.

    b-but corvette-senpai

my telewarp would be 2UP4game then

  5. Artifacts - Endgame

Artifacts make the world go round.

[spoiler2] Teams and Freelancers alike will scramble to collect their artifacts and deny their opponents from getting them. When a character obtains an artifact, it will be stored in hammerspace for them. However, just because they aren't visible doesn't mean people don't know they are there (Think like a domination symbol above their head that shows they have an artifact on them). All characters will be able to tell if someone that they can see has an artifact. When a character dies with an artifact on them, the artifact is dropped. Artifacts are indestructible; nuking an area full of people holding items will leave nothing but a crater and a pile of Artifacts. Characters can not take enemy Artifacts, only their own. When a team or freelancer has obtained all of their artifacts, they must go to the center of the map, and then the game ends.[/spoiler2]

Wait, I was thinking something like that

but also some artifacts or something gave powers or buffs

but whatever that's cool i'm fine JUST ROLLIN' WITH IT

  6. So I recently got into this pretty cool MMORPG called Improbable Island. It's a pretty fun game, and I thought that I would share it with you guys, perhaps organize some interest in group sessions.

    Hmm? I didn't say anything.

    So, discuss.

EDIT: If you do indeed want to hang out, my IG name is David Bowie.

  7. NOTICE: On account of the recent revival and character changes, we are going back to square one with all factions. Please post in this thread any new factions IMMEDIATELY. Thank you in advance, and sorry for any complications.

  8. Man new york is a big place I keep forgetting that's a lot to track

vote for battle for new vegas 2014

Although the change in location would be for the best, I have a personal obligation against changing it because I originally chose New York because hey, it's a giant ass city that has lots of potential hotspots for fights!

But still. You should (and have my blessing) to change it.

  9. As the original author of the idea, I feel I have a right to deem this reboot authorized.

    My verdict currently is:

    Fucking. Yes.

EDIT: Also I withhold the judgement to decide what our goals (if any) should be.

I say that we have the respective factions be required to achieve a win condition by completing a personal goal (must be battle related, no bullshit like "get some authentic new york hot dogs", unless I say so with mod staff) and the primary goal: Reclaim the Statue of Liberty, and defend it from Outsiders/enemy factions for at least 3 ingame hours. This way, we have less "kill em' all for no reason" as we do "kill em' all so we can generally reign over this virtual world".

Discuss with me as freely as you'd like, mods.

    I'm waiting . . . - ensue Barry White record playing -

  10. Mega Gardevoir has Pixilate- makes normal moves Fairy-type with a +30% damage boost.

So a 90-power move goes up to 117, plus it's a sound-based move which hits through substitute.

Hey; could be something like Explosion or Double-Edge.
