It gets a hell out a lot easier when you get some mobility runes. A single Vault (Airjump) and a single Sprint (Dash/Airdash) rune and suddenly bullet hell turns into bullet heaven. I recommend running that and vampirism for the rest.

Before I start, this post isn't about whether I prefer the game to be balanced for comp or pub. This is just looking at what Valve's balanced towards. Like I said before, TF2 is two games at this point One of them is pub, the other is comp Valve clearly isn't going to support comp in the slightest and in fact seems to want to screw them, so comp should probably just move on Perhaps comp could take notes from the SSBM community and create a mod (Project M) or even their own game (Air Dash Online) to make themselves an ideal TF2 If the comp section of the community speaks up loud enough, they can probably get the Demo nerf reverted (again, not saying if this is good or bad), but Valve has pretty clearly communicated that you're not their intended demographic at this point -

@Batty, yes, they accepted something previously considered an exploit that contributed to a class's mobility and lethality so it fit into class balance. Rocket jumping seems like an accurate parallel to me. Furthermore, I'd argue it wasn't a buff at all, since you can't get the added advantages of the other shields if you're using the Tide Turner. But yeah, rest in peace Granary lights. -

Now that I look at the numbers the Demo nerf is too much Axt looks a bit iffy too, but I wholeheartedly support everything else Honestly comp TF2 might be better off playing on modded servers or pulling an Air Dash Online, it's not like comp is that similar to pub TF2 already -

Tide Turner is an acceptable compromise to me; it's basically Valve balancing chargeturning by making you lose some of the Targe's resists to get it Back Scatter looks dangerous as hell and I love it, might be a bit OP though. I'd have to try it BASE Jumper could be a really fun addition. Demo getting it too is neat Classic looks weird as hell but I want it. It does seem a bit bodyshotty but at least Valve tried to discourage them Air Strike sounds neat as a divebombing launcher. I wonder what the clip size cap is. I also wonder how it'll interact with the BASE Jumper
