Okay. So imagine an arena-style top down shooter. You have a bunch of different guns, each of which does its own unique thing, and enemies are randomly spawning. Every so often, a boss spawns in. Certain enemies would be immune or resistant to certain things (for instance, a giant robot would take more damage from your Tesla cannon, but take little damage from your poison cloud grenades). here's the twist, though. You need ammo for the guns, and you get that ammo by playing a match-3. The game would not pause while you did this, so you would be running around, frantically trying to match while under fire. Each gem would correspond to a weapon and give you ammo for that specific one. So if you needed freeze ray ammo, you'd match some white gems. Would you guys try this game? I ask because I may actually make it at some point, but I'd like to know what people would think first.
