I mean, the stopwatch was overpowered and deserved a nerf, if you think otherwise I don't know what to say to you.

I've not crashed once in about 7 hours of playing it. REALLY enjoying it so far, a lot of things seem streamlined and more fun than FO3/NV

The PL map is a fucking mess, it's absolutely atrocious.

I was just talking about the halloween event btw, I didn't know about this list.

It's a NECA figure so basically all those joints are glued shut with paint. The only thing I know to try is to soak the figure in some hot water for a few minutes to try and get things moving. Will give that a go, cheers, would be amazing to be able to pose him with his RL properly.

Looks a whole lot of fun, can honestly say this is the first Blizzard game I'm looking forward to being released. My one criticism (and I know I've mentioned this to you on steam, Guy) is the voice lines are just incredibly stale and unoriginal, maybe I'm comparing it to tf2/dota 2 too much, but it just seems sub-par to me.

Your soldier figure, I have the same one, but his hand is adamant on not being removed so I can give him the rocket launcher. Is there some trick I'm missing or is it just meant to be on really tight?

Going to preorder this in December when I have the cash Thanks Facade. Also going to go Hyper Japan in London next month, and will hopefully pick up some good figures there.

It depends on the kind of fleet that is being fielded and the size of it generally. In the scale and type of fleet I was in last night there's very little twitch based actions, you've gotta be on the ball with locking and attacking the correct target and positioning yourself correctly within the battle, but a lot of that is handled by the fleet commander. In the smaller scale, more individual player skill intensive fleets that I normally fly in there's a lot more manual piloting and a lot relies on fast reactions and decent micromanagement of your modules.

Abaddon isn't a weak hero as such, but the problem with him is that he's just extremely situational. As I see it the only real reasons to pick him are for his aphotic shield and mist coil, both of which are very nice abilities. The dispel on aphotic shield is arguably his strongest ability, and it works well for what it's intended to do. Heroes like vengeful spirit, dazzle, or even WW seem like they are a lot more versatile, they each have heals and the ability to save their allies if they're in a bad situation, but their spells also contribute a lot more to the 5 man meta which is popular at the moment. I'm aware that it's not an entirely valid argument to just compare him to these heroes, as he's fairly different from all of them, and as I said, he's not bad, just situational and most of the time I would rather one of these 3 heroes to abaddon. If we're talking solo queue pubs I don't think it's unreasonable to assume a lot of the time you're going to be a solo support, or at least in a dual lane, so yeah, being a melee support is kind of a big deal, it's extremely hard to zone the enemy offlaner as a melee solo, and if lanes don't go well teammates often go on tilt because very few pub players know how to play from behind. Coupled with the fact that it means he can't deward particularly easily, and that he struggles to gank the enemy mid (which is fairly important if there's something like an SF mid) due to the lack of a stun he struggles to make an impact in a lot of games. Again, he's not a bad hero, but he needs the right situation to actually thrive, there's few heroes better at saving a single core from enemy aggression, but a lot of the time he is quite weak.
