My friend advised moving my graphics card / GPU into someone else's PC to test them individually but I can't do that so that's why I was wondering if I could test it myself.

Well, as Kraszu mentioned above, if you have an integrated GPU in your motherboard, you can take your graphics card out and see if the integrated one works or not. I had a similar situation before where my screen would turn black randomly and it did turn out it was my GPU crapping out. Tested that by running a GPU benchmark program which would cause the blackscreen to happen consistently.  However since your screen is permanently black, its a lot harder to test. If I had to bet, I'd guess its your GPU, but its a lot harder to verify.

If you really want to be thorough, I'd see if it works with different monitors, a different input wire, anything that could possibly be an issue.

Can you go into more detail on the specific issue with your GPU? I can't really help you if I don't know whats going on.

Other than Wolfenstein, I thought it was a waste of a conference. I'm pretty worried about that community content thing because it screams "paid mods" under a different name.

I don't like Bethesda very much as either a developer or publisher, but they generally still publish good games (Doom, Wolfenstein, Dishonored), so I have a little hope for that presentation. I'm more than ready for them to make a good game look bad like they did with DOOM at E3 2015 though.

What a snooze cruise this was.
