  1. About 5 or so days ago, my computer has been going through an issue where the graphics card just stops being detected by the computer out of nowhere, causing the screens to go black, and then fixes itself whenever it feels like doing so (generally within 5-30 minutes) and I am unable for the life of me able to figure out the reason why. At first I thought it was a driver issue, so uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but that wasn't the issue, because it happened a second time. When I was looking at the device manager, I noticed it said that the card was disconnected from the computer, but it reconnected by itself about 10 minutes later. Then it happened a 3rd time, and I thought it may just be too dusty inside my case or perhaps the card was loose, so I disconnected the card and put it back in. No dice. Then I tried to put it into a different slot, but it still didn't work. For the next 10 minutes, I had thought my card had burned out until it suddenly decided to start working again.

It happened again today when I was in the middle of playing a game, and I noticed when it happened that the sound also went away, but that may have just been a case of the game being put to the background by Windows. This time, I didn't even bother, i just turned off the computer for 10 minutes and worked fine when i turned it on, which is strange, because before turning the computer off and on generally didn't fix the issue.

Right now, I'm unable to figure what the issue is. I have no clue if my graphics card is simply going kaput, if my motherboard is getting faulty, or what not. I want to hope its the graphics card, because I don't want to shell out the cash for a new one and find out that its not the real cause.

Sorry if this post is hard to read, I'm not good at trying to explain situations to people.

    tl;dr shits fucked yo.

  2. glad i chose not to go through the dememorization process. all history of the true last person has been completely been wiped from forum and user memory.

    dark times those were.

Also, hey, welcome to the tiny corner of the internet, hope you enjoy it here.

  3. I honestly think Gaster only existed because Toby thought it would be funny to fuck with people and see what kind of outrageous fan theories people could come up with.

  4. I wouldn't want Bethesda handling world building and setting if Obsidian did get a chance to make another Fallout, because I believe Obsidian understands how to build a world a lot better than Bethesda does, unless they've managed to improve massively since Fallout 3.

Also don't want Bethesda anywhere near the West Coast, if Obsidian decided to go back there in a new game.

  5. There is a problem with Islam, and that problem is that people are supposed to emulate Muhammad, who was a warlike and very dangerous man. As long as that is true, there will be Muslims - arguably the "true Muslims" - who commit acts of violence in the name of Islam.

I know very little about the doctrines of Islam itself, but from what I heard a while ago, the Koran outright states that you should not be worshiping and idolizing Mohammed, and that he simply a messenger for God's will. He's not supposed to be any more important than any of the other major prophets that came before him, he's simply the last one. And that's where a lot of the current issues come from, when people are putting a prophet over the god he speaks for.

Of course, this knowledge could be completely false, and I could have just made a jackass out of myself, but I think it makes sense.

Won't deny Muhammad was a conquering warlord, but most the Islamic conquests were carried out after his death.

  6. I think denying that there's an unfortunate amount of Muslims who do believe in hurting others proportional to those who don't is almost as bad as saying they're all bad. A comparison to the Westboro Baptist Church is not really fair. The WBC may be a bunch of annoying fuckers who say and do stupid shit for attention, but at least they haven't killed innocents or founded rogue "states" because of their beliefs (to my knowledge). And to top it off, ISIS continues to gain recruits, even from foreign countries. I'm confident that the majority of Muslims just wish to live their lives in peace and condemn the ones like this, but we shouldn't wave the sadly real issue that there's an unhealthy amount of people that believe in hurting others.

As for this incident, this will almost undeniably further boost anti-immigration beliefs in Europe, and especially France, and at this point, I wouldn't say its unjustified. Innocent people shouldn't be dying for some crazed lunatic's beliefs.
