I vaguely remember this dream from last night.

It involved some girl knocking on my door or some shit, saying she was getting chased by an abusive boyfriend or something, who lived in Anor Londo (perhaps it was Smough?). I then go around the real world crossed with Lordran (Dark Souls I world), some police or some shit and she gets carted off, I get put into the jail, and the dream ends with the abusive boyfriend grinning at me.

Seriously, what the fuck.

On that note, I remember a dream from early primary school where I went to school, but my clothes disappeared when I got into the classroom.

I just read an internet fight where one guy asserted that kids today can't beat the first level of Super Mario Bros. and his "proof" was because games today are easier. I'm trying to make the connection, but I just can't.

 

There was a fake article that talked about something like that. But really, most games from today are far easier than the ones from 10+ years ago, sometimes when I play old games I wonder how the fuck I was able to get as far as I did.

 

A lot of the difficulty with older games probably has to do with the controls, honestly.

Real pros make an elevated hidey hole, and hunt for spiders in the mean time. Honestly, Minecraft isn't even hard anymore. Every update, they try to make things a bit harder, but every time, they fall a bit short and make the AI even easier to counter.

 

You have to be trying to get yourself killed, in my experience.

 

They clearly need all mobs to be able to explode, and also be able to set things on fire, and also destroy blocks and/or eat them to grow larger

 

I don't think they're trying to make it hard anymore; I think they're just trying to casualise the game more so they can get even more 8-year old kiddies to play the game

If you concentrate real hard as you fall asleep you can enter super sleep mode and get about 5 hours worth of rest.

 

Or just stay up and push on through the night. Bury your pain, maybe drink a cup of coffee or some Mountain Dew, and go to your lecture, then go home and crash ASAP.

 

 

I think I'm gonna go for a run at 6AM, binge on yoghurt/fruit for breakfast and bring coffee to the lecture. The problem isn't surviving the lecture, the problem is staying awake during the afternoon.
