Wildstar was awfully optimised on launch which hit it hard. It pushed 40 man raids bit failed to realise that the reason WoW stopped them was because getting 40 geared and competent players was a trial in itself It had long attunement quests for raiding which weren't very enjoyable from what I heard, and there was a lot of (brace for memes:) artificial difficulty. There's something to be said for extending things in MMOs so that it gives it some challenge, but Wildstar went overboard. Also just a personal opinion here, the kinda artstyle it uses doesn't lend itself well for a game that wanted to be Hardcore. I mean it's free and could be different now so give it a shot, but if it had anything special going for it then it wouldn't have gone F2P in the first place, and almost all 'F2P' MMOs really aren't really F2P because if you wanna fully experience the game you'll have to pay money (and in most cases for non sub-based MMOs you'll pay more per month than you would in one with a subscription).
