I tried planetside and I basically spawned, poked my head out into a fight, and got killed within a second. Can't say the experiance left me with a particularly favorable impression, but I suppose I can see the appeal of coordinating with buddies.

I want to play Athena and sword some people and then make them explode. There looks to be more intresting possibilities than just the generic aim assist. Automatically locking onto crit points if you are using sights is a thing, as is detonating any enemy damaged by Nisha when the buff ends. In a character demonstration interview thing I watched, Nisha would basically eat large groups alive.

How so? I managed to do not-godawful after I figured out what the hell each gun did.

Just watched Listen. I liked it. Its always nice to see a plot that actually deals with the wonkyness that time-travel can cause, rather than time travel being just a vehicle to a particular time where everything happens. I also like how it's never really established whether the monsters are real or not. Just enough uncertainty to leave it interesting.

I have apparently gotten twelve hours of enjoyment (it should be noted I'm not particularly good at it). I haven't started a new game plus, gone for all music sheets, or did the hall of champions yet, so there's definitely some more to be done.

Watched Robot of Sherwood. Spoon dueling is excellent.

Beat Shovel Knight. Heluva fun game. It has one of my favorite villain lineups ever. Tinker Knight Best Knight, closely followed by Plague and Polar.

YAY ALIEN STUFF I wonder if they'll stat the new flamer, or if it'll be a reskin (seems more likely). Probably a phlog reskin if so, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to airblast from.
