  1. Not as natural as the motion control drawing but it's still pretty quick and easy to do Would have liked to play it on the Wii though just to experience it myself.
  2. I'm intentionally avoiding the articles for now as I haven't beaten it but will check them out after I was playing it on PS2 back in the day but my brother sold his copy unaware I'd been playing it... Then I bought another when I got a job around 2014 and started hammering it... Then I mysteriously lost THAT copy. It's a very specific curse, it seems. Can't wait for the HD remaster to drop on PC and PS4... I actually bought the original HD release on PS3 on my sister's account but never ended up playing it because I DESPISE the DualShock 3 controller. Yes, that's a petty reason, but I really hate the controller that much. Getting the PS4 *PHYSICAL* version (YAAAAAY!) for christmas from my sister :D She found the rerelease news before I did and demanded to get it for me as a christmas present XD So yeah... Now I'll finally, FINALLY be able to finish Ōkami! And this time I won't be late for the sake... Yes, that has haunted me for years. After turning the house upside-down searching for hours for my old PS2 copy, I bought another to replace it, but I figured with the news of the HD versions being released I may as well go in fresh with one of those! Still glad I have an original copy again though
  3. Medic talks about the stingy rewards for (the majority of) early missions in Warframe!
  4. Medicinal Warlock takes a jab at the new Eviction Notice!
  5. Medic sketches a unique drawing for every day of October! Well done for sticking with it :D (I liked the final date being underlined with "Yay!" lol) This was a really cool article, I'm glad you went with your own concepts. Those provided ones definitely sounded dull by comparison. Electricity got a good chuckle out of me btw
  6. Medic gives tips on how to get through Warframe sorties! Allergy warning: May contain energy pancakes.
  7. Medic conjures up some sweet treats for halloween! They all look great! Slightly envious of the food disposal role being taken, but I suppose that's what the recipe is for! Those ghosts are criminally adorable btw lol
  8. Medicinal Warlock brings up emulation and what it would take to archive video game history. Reminds me of a talk I watched on YouTube about what will happen to Flash games when Adobe stops supporting it. So many games potentially lost in an instant. It's where a lot of indie devs got their start in the scene. Baffling to think they can just pop out of existence, they should be preserved. (...Also TOTALLY not playing Hedgehog Launch right now... I need to make a list of all the flash games I need to replay...)
  9. Medic decides to avoid the warpath. Lag and performance drops are definitely a good way to kill a fun time... I still don't get why TF2 is so cranky about what it does and doesn't like. My PC will run it decently for the most part on high settings (depending on map optimisation) meanwhile my mate's struggles to hit 30fps with everything on minimum, despite his PC having better specs than mine.
  10. Medicinal Warlock still dreams of a better Sharpened Volcano Fragment. We can only hope for it to be noticed and improved. I was surprised going through the changes talking about the least-used weapons that it wasn't recognised. I just got my internet back like an hour ago btw. "2-4 days" they said. Pfft. They're so useless they were repeatedly ringing our old landline over 200 miles away, despite having given them our proper number countless times. Did I mention we haven't used that number in over 10 years? *sighs* Whatever, I'm just glad I'm online again, as shaky as it is right now.
  11. It looked like a radstorm from Fallout 4 :D All yellow-y green... It was awesome. Some people were saying it was orange/red so I guess it depended on where you saw it from. Medicinal, it was the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia. The UK just got battered a bit, hence internet/electric being dodgy in places atm, but it's Ireland I feel sorry for. They took the full brunt of it. Only time it got a little worrying here was around 3/4am, sounded and felt like the house was about to take off but it's been calm since.
  12. Medicinal Warlock praises the Crosslinker's Coil and ponders where the promotional items have gone! Also, UPDATE with multiple days and an awesome SFM trailer... I'm excited... And miserable. Because this damn storm in the UK has knocked out my internet 7 times now and will probably continue doing so. *sighs* ISP say they'll fix it in 2-4 days. At least the update is looking stellar! :D Hopefully I'm (consistently) online to enjoy it when it releases
  13. Medic goes over the basics of all the new stuff found in the Plains of Eidolon!
  14. Medic explores (and gets lost while doing so) the new Plains of Eidolon expansion for Warframe! And if all that wandering around gets you hungry, she's got you backed with her own chocolate chip cookie recipe!
  15. Seemingly. Neith is the goddess of weaving (having weaved the world into existence according to Egyptian mythology) and yet only found the time to make herself a string lol (scroll down for her skins) She's the eye-candy, poster child, tutorial god for a reason. Here's her depiction from the ancient Egyptians themselves. The annoying part is that Hi-Rez can (and have) made great female characters but they are just as willing to create a character for the prepubescent to gawk at. I obviously don't mind a goddess like Aphrodite since she's the goddess of beauty. But when a female goddess/champion's standard or paid skin resembles swimwear I can't help but roll my eyes knowing who they're aiming at. The thing that winds me up most about the Infernal Seris skin was that it was that it was a community vote. There were some really cool concepts for a few of the champions but sexy Seris won out, because of course she did. It doesn't help her entire voice pack in that skin is suggestive tones and innuendos. Hopefully if they do a second one we could get something more creative.
  16. Medicinal Warlock talks Paladins, its female champions and fan service. This irk isn't only in Paladins either, SMITE has its fair share too. Because naturally, Hi-Rez decided even the hideous spider monster needed to be attractive and have jiggle physics. I'm amusingly reminded of Shadow of War's Shelob reveal. Of all the forms the giant spider could transform into, it was a beautiful human female. Hah.
  17. I got matched with a bunch of cheaters. Only a handful of matches were cheat free and of those only 1 server filled beyond 6v6. Match 1) Payload with a Sniper on my team headshotting everyone instantly with a medic healing him for free assists. Left. Match 2) Accidentally joined 2fort and came across a Soldier who could kill me through multiple walls (I heard the rockets but never saw them, freeze cam would show him miles away and usually indoors which obviously had no sightline on where I died and if he WAS that far away the rockets shouldn't of done ramp-up levels of damage) mix that with wallhacks and potentially a projectile aimbot/triggerbot (as he'd kill me and other teammates with frame-perfect rockets before we'd even gone around a corner) and I'd had enough. Left. Match 3) Payload again with an aimbot Sniper on the enemy team who seemingly could zoom in and out so fast it looked like he didn't even stop strafing, even though there's supposed to be a delay on scoping. Eventually won against him with help from another demoman, we spammed pipes over cover because it was the only way to kill the git. Even the SMG is terrifying when it can't miss. Quit. So yeah, not the best run. Maybe MvM would have been the smarter choice.
  18. Medic celebrates TF2 officially hitting the 10 year milestone! I'm gonna go and play a few rounds for the first time since... *checks* ...the 12th of August. I think that was when my friend and I had an abysmal string of matches where we just stomped everyone. Normally, we'd swap teams and have a laugh trying to win for our team while sparring each other but you can't manually swap now and the auto-balance thingy would never pop up. So we ended up just playing an hour or two of horribly stale matches before playing Paladins instead. But that's all MYM's fault. TF2 is still great and I'm thankful for all the crazy stories and memories it's given me. Happy 10th Birthday TF2!
  19. Medicinal Warlock talks about TF2's 10 year run and its (eventual) future demise. Hopefully those fabled updates give it some extra time.
  20. 5500 favor. Which is the SMITE equivalent of gold. I find it weird they still call it a beta. I played Paladins during the closed beta over a year ago.
  21. Back in Beta they were 5000 a piece except for the newest release which I think was 7500?? Either way, it's stupid.
  22. Medicinal Warlock talks about the struggle of spending money in Paladins... I agree with the lack of willingness to spend due to how rigged it can feel. I HAVE the Founders pack* and still struggle to put a decent deck together because essence is such a pain to get. It sucks when you want to expand your roster or just experiment and you get hit with the purple paywall. (*which my sister gifted me when it was 50% off, back when Paladins was actually in BETA. They still use the "beta" tag though...) In both SMITE and Paladins I haven't opened a single payed chest, but that's just out of spite of the system. Even if I've earned enough via daily rewards to buy them. It's manipulative and predatory to those with addictive personalities. I've seen friends and family casually throw money down the drain chasing the one item they really wanted. I wish everything was just direct purchase, but that doesn't siphon enough money out of the vulnerable.
  23. Medicinal Warlock goes over Just Cause 2! (I need to play more of 2, barely played it but finished 3.)
  24. Today, Medicinal Warlock covers the importance of developers having a sense of humour! Btw, I hadn't caught that Devolver Digital presentation. That was GOLD. Why didn't I hear about this earlier?!
  25. Yeah, don't worry I'm not pointing the finger at you! Apart from the thought of a potential word filter, I doubted SPUF had anything to do with it. Well, back to work!
