I'll still put paradox in front of Stardock. At least paradox puts interesting ideas into their expansions (even though most of the time those ideas should have been in entirely new games). Most of Stardock's stuff is either entirely inconsequential, or stuff that was obviously removed from the original game to make new DLC. All this without even having a stable base game.

First game of Stellaris played as a glorious feudal space empire, and took over half the galaxy. For my second game I decided to play as a federation type materialist/pacifist. Of the enemy empires, all but 2 are either militaristic or spiritualist. Most of them fanatically. At this point I'm just bribing people into trading with me.

Why couldn't they just call it Battle Angel Alita?

They really are going to make anime versions of every Gundam manga and novel: Next they'll do that alternate version of Char's Counterattack which still had Beltorchika, before the original movie removed her from the script for being a bitch. EDIT: I was joking when I said that, but now that I think about it Hathaway's flash actually uses some key plot details from that novel that didn't appear in the movie version of Char's Counterattack, so maybe they really will make an adaptation of it.

I might do this, but only as a "best of what I watched." That would include three shows form 2018 I think? Patlabor anime of the year though.

Part of the reason that I watch so many Japanese video on youtube is that it tends to kill the default recommendations relatively quickly. But now Youtube has started recommending lots of Family Guy videos with Japanese subtitles: There's no escape.
