Can't imagine why the CEO of Intel sold all of his stock other than the minimum he is required to hold in his position a few months ago. Here's to a knock at his door from the SEC.

    Net Neutrality guff

Think about it, since when have multiple large corporations banded together to demand regulation, allegedly for the benefit of their customers? If your answer was "Never" you may have some critical thinking skills yet. Google/Netflix/Amazon aren't in this to lose money, and if ISPs could charge them more for the bandwidth that they use (which is a finite resource, btw), they would have to raise their prices to cover the additional costs of using that bandwidth. With Net Neutrality, we ALL get to pay extra instead of just those who use those services. I find it mildly humorous that the most vocal about this have no problem with trusting Alphabet/Netflix/Amazon, yet most agree with the (%99) bs and a whole lot of them were hot and heavy for Bernie Sanders. CORPORATIONS ARE EVIL! / TRUST THE MEGA TECH CORPORATIONS WHO RUN THE INTERNET, THEY KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR US!

    Net Neutrality guff

Call me crazy, but when all of the tech giants band together and demand that the .gov regulate them, color me suspicious on their motives. Net Neutrality is less about the potential of ISPs serving data ala-carte, and more about Netflix, Facebook, Google, and Amazon not paying more for the bandwidth their services use, and rather than charging their customers more for that service, passing it along to everyone who uses the internet, instead of just those users.

Nulcore got VAC detected (finally). Lots of people went on Thanksgiving VACation this year never to return, lol.

I bought the Orange box specifically for Half Life 2 and the Episodes. Didn't really have a good enough internet connection to really start playing TF2 until the MvM update, though. I had played it a little offline, just like TFC (which I also didn't play much of, for the same reason, same goes for CS 1.6 and Source). Portal really was the surprise hit out of that entire box of software goodness, imho. I remember the first time I saw the first Half-Life Demo running on one of the computers in my shop class (freshman year of HS, so, late '99 early '00) been hooked on the series pretty much ever since. I remember playing the CS Alpha and Beta over my school's LAN in my computer class, good times! I had a friendly LAN party with my CS class in '03, playing Opposing Force multiplayer of all things. During that free day I was playing Single Player on the hardest difficulty, and gathered a bit of a crowd, so we fired up the multiplayer, and I dropped a steaming deuce on those who played (I want to think it was about 12, over all). Was the first time I had ever played Opp For multiplayer, so the maps were new to me, but I already knew how the weapons worked due to how many times I had played through the OG Half-Life and the expansions by then.

It is one of the most Hightower of all Hightower screen grabs (and slight humble brag with a double MG crit killfeed complete with a domination). I only took the grab because of the killfeed, but it wasn't until I looked it over that I was able to realize how glorious it is over all.

I only got rid of my Aus Black Box because my Fac New Stat Trak Woodland Warrior is most likely the only one in existence with two clearly visible spy crabs on it. I will be forever sad because I'll never be able to get a pumpkin bomb spell for it (like I have on all of my other launchers that I used prior to the Ghost Fort Scream Fortress event) :(

My only regret is that there was not enough characters for me to use "Kwanzaatized" instead of "Kwanzaa". Oh, and not transferring over the 15k+ kills my Australium Black Box had before I traded it off for my Factory New Woodland Warrior. I think my Direct Hit has more kills on it now. One of these days I may get a Pro Killstreak kit for it.

Lol, you did! Looks like Barnblitz. I believe I spent most of that round smashing my dick in the door that is the first spawn point with a team full of "not very good" people.
  21. This was due to a couple of issues, most notably being that my config.cfg was set to "read only" (you know, to prevent shit like this from happening, lol) I added the new console lines to my .cfg, let it run with "read only" not set, confirmed that the "new" player messages were gone, and then set it back. Keeping my .cfg "read only" ensures that my "base" TF2 config is the same everytime I start TF2. It also means that I can "unbind all" to my little black heart's content with no ill effects, as nothing is saved, so my .cfg will never get "accidentally" hosed.
  22. The new update broke something in my TF2, and now every time I start TF2, TF2 thinks I'm a new player. Is there any way to turn this off with a console command?

Believe it or not, the YER is still pretty good so long as you use the Saharan set. I haven't tried any other revolvers with it yet, but then again, if I wasn't using the L'etranger it was the Amby, just for the extra firepower. Now that the Amby is dead, Stock is the "firepower" revolver, and now with the cloak penalty the L'etranger comes in real handy to build cloak back. With the other watches you no longer have to choose between losing a disguise or defending yourself. The Saharan set will still get you more cloak time than the stock knife and revolver. I imagine in competitive play that 33% less cloak is easily managed due to the simple fact that there are only 6 or 9 people on the enemy team, which will more or less be playing together, so you won't need as much cloak to get into position (though it helps out quite a bit if you need to escape). YER/Deadringer is not viable at all now. You have to choose between a disguise or your feign, which you can't refill through any means other than the L'etranger, which drops your disguise. YER/Cloak and Dagger is the new hotness, as you can disguise and remain cloaked so long as you are still, and if you're near an ammo pack you can get your cloak back rather quickly so that you can go on about your Spy business without the extreme downtime of the new Dead Ringer. This will probably be the new Spy meta in comp now that the Amby/DR is dead.

Lol, I spread this and how to do it to as many people as I could, mostly for the lulz. These things wouldn't happen if Valve actually playtested their updates (RIP TF2 Beta).
