The problem with it comes from the projectile size, so yeah, it could be compared to the Huntsman.In most standoffs in Tribes, you and your opponent are almost always jumping around frantically. So, unless you can pull off airshots with the Spinfusors/Bolt Launchers (which would put you at a large disadvantage should you miss, which isn't difficult) you have a choice of either:-Using a weapon with a high rate of fire (Assault Rifles, SMGs) to try to catch them in the air-Waiting until they touch the ground and trying to nail them with splash damageWith the Plasma Gun, there is little consequence for missing an airshot due to the high fire rate, and the projectile size and speed is so large that airshots are very easy, so you come out on top after most confrontations with little effort on your part.
