And yes, Attendant is definitely best hat.Actually, most of the Pyros I see wearing the Attendant know what they're doing. I know that the hat doesn't always make the player, but Attendants and Whiskered Gents usually signify a Pyro who knows how to play the class well. Add an Apparition's Aspect in there... get ready for a beatin'.
