Ooh, Devil May Cry 3 is a good one too, yeah. You still kinda need to play AT LEAST Jak 2 before you play Jak 3. There's an actual plot, but the first game is mostly stand alone. IMO Final Fantasy VII has not aged at all well, nor have the Resident Evil and Oddworld games. EXCEPT Stranger's Wrath, Stranger's Wrath is badass (but the updated HD verison is on Steam right now).

Eh, he might as well just pick up Prototype for the 360 in that case.

Jak and Daxter (But especially Jak 2 and Jak 3, they're completely different from the first and a lot better IMO) Ratchet and Clank series. Kingdom Hearts (Chain of Memories is on PS2 now but I suggest skipping it, you can find a synopsis somewhere if you want to play KH2) Final Fantasy X and XII I have SO MANY PS2 games, though many of them are bad (still worth playing though). If I didn't suspect it would cost a small fortune to ship them to you I'd send you all but my favorites.
