I'm using it right now and it's everything I ever dreamed of and more. The moveset and slower attacks will take a bit of getting used to but I didn't know it did actual melee combos too. The small bit of grinding to get an extra few levels in Dex was well worth.

Update: After a bit of a break, I won by activating Git Fuckin' Gud mode (removing all armor) and equipping the Simpleton's Ring. Can't touch Nightcrawler beeotch.

Back to Dark Souls 2, I just realized Brume Tower is DLC content. They work that shit in seamlessly, don't they? Gave up on the Fume Knight, moved on to an area I KNOW is DLC (Frozen Eleum Loyce) because I need the Bone Fist. I NEEEEED it. It speaks to me. Of course there's this stupid tiger in the way of my prize that I just can't seem to murder. After all these lightning fast bosses its slow attacks are throwing me off and I keep ending up rolling straight into its claws. Sucks p hard.

I am currently experiencing the pain of a certification course with a test designed by a completely different company (who I'm 99% sure didn't have English as their first language because of all the fucking typos god damn these Indian bastards). It is an exquisite pain, full bodied, with a rich bouquet of bullshit. -
I had Platinum stars in three weapons in that game. C4, AT mines, and mah boi Carl Gustav. One of my favorite moments is noticing a sniper on a far away mountaintop and hitting them dead on with a rocket. It was like the end to Kickass, they flew backwards off the mountain and then the rocket exploded mid-air.

Bad Company 2 is still the best Battlefield game ever made IMO.

Wrong on two counts. Fume Knight phase 2 has my balls in a vice. Even after swapping back to my old build (dual Cestus) I'm only doing marginally better, and I think that's mostly because DEM IFRAMES BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. On the other hand, Black Gulch was SUPER worth. I can now tool around in Havel boots and gauntlets and look like an all around badass. Just those two articles of clothing gives me more armor than the full armor set I was wearing and way less weight. It's glorious.

They were relevant to the multiple universes plot. Basically they were the same person from different universes, not actually twins. At least to my recollection. They were also trapped between dimensions or something? They had too much quantum I think.

Got back into playing Dark Souls 2, continuing my slow and lonely trudge through that game (in a good way). Reached the Tower of Brume. Where has this place BEEN all game? The level and encounter design is MILES above the rest of the game so far. Cramped corridors that make me have to rethink tactics I've been using (I'm using the Roaring Halberd as my main weapon and by necessity I've now gotten VERY good at catching its sweet spot when a swing because if I miss or hit while too close to an enemy my weapon durability goes to shit real fast). Varied hazards that can be turned to your advantage if you know how (the little barrel bros are fucking great). Enemies with tactics beyond "rush him and stab with weapon XD" (the guys/gals that shoot lightning balls, teleport, and dagger rush you are cool, as are the bigass dudes with flamethrowers all over them), multiple branching paths, different ways to tackle any given room, etc, etc. I've been in this place for a solid 4-5 hours alone now just exploring every nook and cranny (and getting stuck on a few spots I later realized I could finesse with unexpected things like shifting the position of flamethrowers) and I've finally reached the Fume Knight (he's giving me a BIT of trouble but I'm getting his pattern down). I'm kinda sad to be nearing the end of the tower. This is bar none my favorite part of the game so far. I wanted to believe every level after this would be as good, but from my foray into the Iron Passage, aka "Here, have a shitty corridor with enemies you can't reach with a boss at the end" and Black Gulch (which I went into briefly and just decided "Fuck this, ain't worth it") that sadly doesn't seem to be the case.

This lizard has been sitting on my hand for over an hour. I've been up moving around a bit. Browsing the internet. I wrote a bunch of posts on GiTP while it was still perched, unmoving. It doesn't give a FUCK. -
I haven't watched the new season yet but is he better than he was in Korra season 2? He sounded drunk as fuck in the episode he was in as ghost Iroh.

Recently? We used to have stricter registration stuff IIRC after soon after the site being opened we got a flood of bots and random shitters posting at once. -

I think we un-privated the forum but haven't bothered to actively recruit. -

I'm bored enough that I kinda want to open the "floodgates" to the 10 people that still post on SPUF. -
No, like Superman

Pact is gey To be fair it's not really BAD and it was okay as a binge but any time I was following it week to week it was slow and both less interesting premise-wise than Worm or Twig, and had nowhere near as good writing and characterization as Twig.
-
You caught up on Twig yet? After that is Worm 2.

It's cool, but being honest with myself I'm too lazy to train that hard.

Didn't take my vote the first time. Fixed now (post-human Psychic). Psychic fixes two of my main problems in life. 1.) I'm an irrational nosy prick who doesn't like people keeping secrets from him and 2.) I can't reach that far.
-
No superhero-ing. I might use my powers to help people if I'm around at the time but seeking out danger to the point people expect me to solve all their problems? No thanks. Side note: I picked Psychic because it's a very close second, but if it was proper Shapeshifting (partial and not, control over it) instead of Fleshsmith (which just makes me think of Crawler), that'd be my choice.

I've also never heard of an activated almond. -

I had never heard of an activated coconut before now. I still don't really know what it is. -

I have no easy way to get these suckers out of the tree, and I don't do anything to grow them. Hell, they even climbed up there and got them for me. $10 for no work on a tree I don't want and got for free is a pretty good deal. Somehow I doubt the Columbian man who works at the Publix down the road would have wanted to pay me ~$100 for a bunch of yellow coconuts anyway. I told him "give me whatever you think is fair for them". I would have given them to him free if he asked. -

Today started well. Got woken up by a Columbian man who wanted to buy some coconuts off my tree. We had a nice conversation, I got $10 out of the deal. Worth waking up for. -

I also enjoyed the absolutely traumatized looks on the faces of the little kids in the theater. Hope it was worth it, parents! As they were leaving, I mean. Obviously I couldn't see them during the movie.
